Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy is my hobby. My family names are, Collard, Padgett, Sharp, Carter and Tamsett. My husband Dwayne and I share an ancestor. Elijah Collard of 1824 is my 3 great grandfather and Dwayne's 2 great. His family names are Collard, Graham, Severs, Tucker and Davis. Find a Grave has been a big help in my research so I am adding to it so maybe other researchers will benefit from what I have added. If anyone sees a mistake in what I have posted please let me know. Also if someone wants to manage their families memorial I will transfer management to them.

If anyone wants to use any of my pictures in their Family Trees on Ancestry feel free to use them. Genealogy is sharing info, pictures etc. That is what these sites are for as well as honoring and remembering our family and friends.

RE: Buel Hill
Hi Glynda,

I did get your previous email. Sometimes changes don't happen quickly, I've discovered.

The confusion may be that Magness Cemetery is located on Wilburn Rd.

I did email Roger Herriott, who set up the original memorial, and asked him to change the cemetery name. Being someone else's memorial, I am not able to change certain things, including the cemetery location.

I have gone in and added the pictures you requested. I also have another photo of Buel as a teenager (?) that I can add if you want. I also have a "map" photo that I prepared a while back showing the exact location of Buel's grave in the cemetery.

I do request one thing though. Roger's memorial had a bit of information attached to it that yours does not; the family relations, etc. I've copied them here if you would add them to your memorial before trying to get Roger to delete his. If you include Roger's name at the bottom, giving him the credit, he may not mind so much.

"Son of Emmit Hill Sr. and Lethel Hill, Husband of Margaret Hill, Sisters: Martha Hill Pearrow, Geneva Hill Reed, Ruby Hill Bell, Wencie Hill Smith, Lavada Hill Clairday, Sarah Hill Herriott, Tapsy Hill Cox. Brothers: Charles Hill, Emmit Hill Jr., Buel Hill." -Roger Herriott

I understand the Find-a-Grave people usually frown on duplicate memorials. so I agree with one of the two being taken down, especially since it makes it confusing.

Quick question: are you related to the Hill family as well? Buel was my grandfather's cousin, Buel's father Emmitt being my gr-grandfather John's brother. Mr Herriott, i believe, would be related as a brother-in-law (or son of, I'd have to look at my tree again).

Let me know if there is anything else I can help with. :)

Sophronia Singleton Amyett
Too early, that would be 'she died between 1920 - 1930'.

Amyett(s) in Providence Cem.
Glynda, seeing how many memorials you have originated, I doubt that you have any relation to the Amyetts you have documented in Providence Cemetery, Kensett, White, AR. I am attempting to find the parents of some of those you list - James Henry Amyett and Sophronia I. 'Frony' Singleton Amyett. He died before 1900 in or near Harrison, White, AR and she died between 1020-1930, last in Kentucky, White, AR Any info will be greatly appreciated. Contact:

Hi, I sure dont know where his wife is buried. I thank you in letting me know where David son was buried. Will have to get on looking up more on this family. I know my Gr, Grandmother Millie Jefford Giddens remarried & moved to NM but cant fine who she married are where she is buried yet. Took me a long time to fine out she remarried, thanks only to a relative, I never have got to meet. last census I can fine her on was from Independence ARK. So maybe his wife remarried? Thank you again for the info, this family has lots of missing blanks. Hope to one day fill them in. Diana
