I became interested in Genealogy about 8 years ago after going thru my grandmothers "Trunk of Treasures". The interest is now a full time obsession, which I enjoy. |
Some of the main names in my line are Ray & Brewer from Tennessee. Ward, Bedwell, Ford, Wiley, Jackson, Mourton and Pickard in Arkansas. Akers, Roberts, Stevens, May in Texas.
I would love to hear from anyone who is researching any branches of "my" tree.
If you see a flower from me on a memorial, that means they are in my tree, so get in touch.

|Patsy Young||Lena Harris|
Lena was married to my grandfather, George Harris when she died in Texas. Both died before I was born. I know nothing about Lena, except her maiden name was Roberts,and she was buried at Childress, Texas. She does have a child buried next to my Grandparents, George and Alice Harris in the Fellowship Cemetery at Dierks, Arkansas. Thank you for the picture and any other information you may have about Lena, I would appreciate. Thank you.

|AnnieMae||RE: Akers Family|
Henry Jackson Akers was my grandmother's half brother. Her mother was Amanda Taylor.....his mother was Tennessee Roberts. In Henry's later years he lived with his sisters in Poteet or Jourdanton...don't recall which. Both "sets" of kids were very close to each other.

Mandy Akers had 2 children with Laiford Claibourne She lived with her daughter before she died. Her son married, no children.
She also had several step-children whose mother was Tennessee Teny Roberts...Laiford's first wife.
Somehow you and I are connected....maybe through one of Teny's children ???

|Laura Young||RE: John and Maude Diemer|
Christina, I am glad the picture was helpful for John and Maud Diemer. When I go to a cemetery looking for relationships, I try to make pictures of other tombstones that are nearby and then post them.
