In September 2007, I retired after teaching mathematics for 30 years. Almost immediately I became hopelessly addicted to genealogy. I have photographed relatives' tombstones in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee, New York, Wisconsin and Missouri. I have published two books: "The Ancestry of William Floyd Myers in Jay County, Indiana," and "Salamonia Christian Church, 1842-1999." I'm currently working on a book about my Myers family genealogy.

I was born Judith Ann Myers in Richmond, Indiana, and spent the first 35 years of my life in various parts of central Indiana. Then my family and I moved to Tennessee for 2 1/2 years, then to Tempe, Arizona, for 5 years, and finally back to Knoxville, Tennessee, where we still live.

I went ahead and deleted Kizzie's memorial. Thank you for crediting me with the biographical information.
Happy New Year,

P.S. - I have Henderson in my family tree too. What part of Scotland are yours from?

Happy Holidays, Judy!

We had a Great Christmas, having our children and grandchildren at our home all together, well it just doesn't get any better than that. Hope you and your family had a Great Christmas too. I am very grateful for all your help, guidance and support you gave me this past year. Thanks again!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

re: Anishaensel family
Judy..
Thanks for the detailed genealogy of the various Himmelsbach relations in St. Louis. Your Herman Anishaensel (1875-1914) was my great-grandmother Julia's 1st cousin. She was born Julia Anishaensel in New York in 1885 and died there in 1937. She was the daughter of Herman Anishaensel (1852-1923), the brother of your Herman's father, Ludwig (1838-1916). Herman and his entire family in NY later used the name "Anderson" in public.
There was a second brother in Brooklyn, NY, Heinrich, and I've been in touch with his descendants as well as a third brother, Wilhelm, in Cincinatti. All brothers were from Renchen, Baden, Germany. I'm at margroATmidcoast.com.
many thanks,
/Bob/ Bob Grobe

Ernest Coldren
Judy, on the memorial for William Ross Coldren you state that Ernest Coldren was his son by his second wife Rebecca. I suspect that is true but I have never seen any evidence of the relationship. I note that you have also stated that William, along with his parents, was one of the earliest members of the Salamonia Christian Church. You seem to have a lot of information about that church. Does it record that Ernest was the son of William and Rebecca, or do you have some other source for the relationship?

Thank you for your work!

David

RE: Morgan cemetery
No problem. I was working on the Copeland side of the family and found it. Joseph Copeland was my great grand father-in-law.
