Find A Grave Memorial# 68476896
I am requesting your permission to attach your photo of this lady's gravestone to my husband's family tree/ancestry.com. They are distant cousins.

FYI A cemetery lookup on Find A Grave to the name above brings the viewer to the cemetery on Sheridan Mountain where 9 burials have been recorded and 8 photographed by Pat Palm. The 9th is the memorial I created for my brother.

I just noticed your posting about the cemetery being called "Sheridan Mountain Cemetery." I went to Find A Grave and "Cemetery Lookup" but found no entry. In early October I created a site to enter my oldest brother so he would appear with his eight expired siblings. I called it "Old Sheridan Catholic Cemetery." Should I now delete that and create one called "Sheridan Mountain Cemetery?"
I anticipate that there will be additions to the cemetery now that more people are investigating the old cemetery and stones are being identified.

Don't know if you made it to the old cemetery this summer but wanted to let you know that the cemetery has received some attention on the Aroostook Genealogy site recently (hosted by Pat Palm, friend of Paula Deprey.) I visited this past weekend and was very pleased to find that much work has been done by George Baker from Ashland and fellow church volunteers. Many stones are now visible, the periphery has been "flagged" and at least two family plots are identifiable by picket or chain fences. A lady on the Genealogy site is working diligently to identify at least one Civil War veteran in the cemetery to acquire government assistance to maintain the cemetery.

|Dirigo 04736||RE: Sacred Heart Cemetery|
I did notice that a couple weeks ago. There is a Sacred Heart Cemetery listed in "Soldier Pond". And the other is listed in "Aroostook County". I believe one listed in "Aroostook County" is supposed to be the Sacred Heart Cemetery in North Caribou. I been meaning to take a drive there and compare the names with the listing of people assigned there. I added my Uncle to the Sacred Heart in "Soldier Pond" and linked him to his wife and children. Some time after when I went to add some more family to Sacred Heart "Soldier Pond" I notice there were two and my Uncle's wife and child were in the other one. However the Sacred Heart in "Soldier Pond" is a very small cemetery and I doubt has five hundred memorials let alone the 768 that are assigned to the Sacred Heart "Aroostook". I am hoping to have time to check it out this week.
|Armand O'Clair||Thank you|
Glad to see Dora with her husband. Made the moves of my memorials to Saint Marks. All but two are together now! Thanks so much for photographing ALL the O'Clair headstones. It's a great accomplishment and makes visiting the memorial site so real.
|Armand O'Clair||Dora Pelletier|
I moved Dora Pelletier to Saint Marks Cemetery as you suggested. Unfortunately, she's no longer with her husband Everett who is in the "Sheridan Cemetery" as a result of the same two/one Sheridan cemetery problem you know about. Perhaps Sally will be more responsive than the other contributor you've dealt with.
