FIND A GRAVE HAS RULES, THEY ARE FOR EVERYONE NOT JUST A FEW.
To many adding burial unknown and putting in the wrong cemetery JUST to make their family tree.

In regard to duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location.

I put a lot of time in walking cemetery's. To have someone move their burial unknown or ones they added to a wrong cemetery is like a slap in the face. This has happen to me to many times. I will no longer walk cemetery's.

For the burial unknown I find that was added to a cemetery I am putting both in the way back machine so it can be seen when you move them.

DO NOT ADD birth records, Death records, scanned obituary's or other documents. I WILL HAVE THEM REMOVED.

No decorative graphics, animated GIFs, photo frames, or graphic embellishments.
No post-mortem photos.
No screen shots from other websites.
No obituary photographs.
No scans of obituaries or newspaper articles.
No photos taken from any website, including Find A Grave!!!

Location of body unknown must be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days.

I will Only add the last name that is on the stone. Not 2 last names. If 2 are on the stone I will add them.

I add the dates that are on the stone. If it is wrong I will add it to the Bio.

Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request.
I will transfer your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren ONLY.

I DO NOT ADD BURIAL UNKNOWN LIKE SO MANY DO. THEN WHEN SOMEONE FINDS THE RIGHT CEMETERY THEY MOVE THEIRS AND SAY THE ONE WHO DID THE WORK MADE A DOUBLE. IF YOU READ THE FAQ"S YOU WILL SEE YOU ARE WRONG.

In regard to duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location.

I WILL NOT LINK TO BURIAL UNKNOWN. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHERE THEY ARE BURIED YOU SHOULD NOT ADD THEM TO A GRAVE REREGISTRATION SITE.
Find a grave will remove a burial unknown if someone adds it to the right cemetery. Do the work and find them before you add them. Do not move your burial unknown and tell the person who added it first to a cemetery they made a double. Find a grave can tell if you moved it and will remove yours.

if you want a bio added I will add it and give you credit for it.

What is Find A Grave?
Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.

Memorial contributions to Find A Grave must fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.

Find a Grave memorials may contain rich content including pictures, biographies and more specific information. Members can leave remembrances via 'virtual flowers' on the memorials they visit, completing the virtual cemetery experience.

Find A Grave is a resource for anyone in finding the final disposition of family, friends, and 'famous' individuals.
