I live in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I was born in Ashdown, Arkansas. I have been doing research on Holt, Chesshir, Battenfield, Merrell, Moore, Massengale, Hadaway, Rickey, Clark, & Honeycutt. and many more. I have just recently found find a grave. I have been looking for some of the people for a very long time. And I think it is a very good way to share information.

Memorial Gardens, Texarkana
Memorial Gardens is actually East Memorial Gardens. Most all the memorials you have in Memorial Gardens has been duplicated in the correct cemetery, East Memorial Gardens. This is something you might like to check out.

RE: Mary J. Hadaway Yarborough
Yes I as well have that same info on Gilson, he had children with Susan and Elizabeth but no children with Martha Ann Hadaway. I also do not believe that William Moses is his father, as the Gilson they speak about was born in SC 1815.. I do know that as far as census shows Gilson was born in Illinois. The only census I find him in is the 1860 and then I have found his death, also my family in Ark. has sent me information that they had. I do not know how to prove any of this other than the census. Do you have other census that shows him being anywhere else?. Thank you for your time, we have a cousin that is doing a lot of research on the Hadaways, it is so confusing as sisters married brothers lol, so confusing.....

Mary J. Hadaway Yarborough
irth: Feb. 16, 1867
Cove
Polk County
Arkansas, USA
Death: 1916
Dallas
Dallas County
Texas, USA

The headstone says she was born in 1872, this does not seem to be who they say it is. She did not die in Texas and buried in Ark. makes no sense...Mary Jane Hartsell who was born in Texas 1872 and died in Ark. 1916 seems to be more like it. But I do not believe she has a headstone..

Trammell Cemetery
actually this cemetery is known as the Trammell Family Cemetery. The original sign was taken and I have maintained and replaced the the signs twice. My Aunt and my family are who cleaned it up and reclaimed from nature and put the fence around it. Am now in the process of grave dousing in hopes of getting all grraves marked.

Tommy Lee Massengale
Hi, Donna,

We are looking for the location of the grave of Tommy Lee Massengale. We were wondering how you knew of him because he was only 3 years old when he died.

I will e-mail you a more detailed message at djh101064@att.net Hope it is still an active account.

Thanks,
Mary R.

Edits submitted for Cottonwood Cemetery/Penrose
In case you were wondering, the source on those "edits" I have entered via the tab system (mainly plot numbers) -- is the book "Our People And Where They Rest: A Visit to 104 Old Cemeteries in Eastern Oklahoma," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, American Indian Institute, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. 1970-1985, (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) There wasn't a place for me to put that in the edit form.

Let me know if you need something else to be able to continue processing these "Edits."

Thanks for all your help! Best wishes.
