Barb's Family Tree
The memories of all our yesterdays
live in the corners of my heart,
A time spent not so long ago,
where you will forever be a part.
I tell everyone I meet how very proud I am of you,
And how Hard it was to let you go
even though I knew you'd want me to.
But now somewhere, someone is smiling
because of the joy that you could bring,
And I know after listening more closely,
it's the song of unselfishness when I hear a bird sing.
And even though you can no longer be with me,
I still feel that you are there.
Perhaps, that's the bond that goes unbroken
when a love is truly shared.
So, I'll only say farewell because in good-byes I don't believe,
For I know that time will come again
when you'll be holding hands with me.

|Peggy Dochterman||RE: Martha Brown|
Memorial number is 61409557 for Martha Brown in question. Just wondering if you think this is John Beal Stephen Shannon's daughter. He is buried at Combs Cemetery in Luray. If so, thought you would want to connect her to her parents.
|Peggy Dochterman||Martha Brown|
I just found an obituary for John Beal Stephen Shannon buried at Combs Cemetery in Luray. In it mentions a daughter Martha Brown of Wyaconda, Missouri. Was wondering if you think this might be his daughter?
|Bridget Brown||William Bird|
I noticed you left flowers at William's memorial and I'm hoping you can confirm that he is, indeed, my grandmother's (Lucile V Bird Brown) brother, son of Harry and Cora Leonard Bird. Any additional info also appreciated, e.g., I wasn't aware that he had married and had children.
Thank you very much,
Just realized that you have left flowers at an astounding number (19K+ !) of memorials, so this is likely a long shot.

Hey Barbara, I'm trying to locate photos of Martha Jane Ballard. I was wondering if you have any? She's my 3rd Great Grandmother. Thanks for your time.
|Donna White||RE: Virginia Rickman|
I reported him to email@example.com. People who refuse all edits only wind up forcing people to make duplicates to link people up. Nothing has been done about him so far. Why he even posts memorials if he doesn't want to help people find their relatives/ancestors is beyond me. Seems to be just so he can argue with people. He has deleted the daughter and reposted her in order to erase my flowers/comments. I think there were grave pics that volunteers took that have been deleted along with the memorials deleted. People should not be allowed to delete memorials with grave pics added. donna
|Bob Wilson||RE: Wilson Family|
Thanks for the response. Actually, Wright (Bubba) is my 3rd Great as well. Son Pinkey, son Marion, Dad Robert B. Not sure where that puts us as far as cousins, distant but kin!
Based on your tree and reply, you're at a dead end on Mary E as well. Someone put Lambert (?) but have not tried very hard to track it down.
I seem to be getting to dead ends on all branches in early 1800's or mid 1700's. Having fun but frustrating!
Regardless, thanks for the info and the effort you put in to get me to this point, Bob.
Barbara, I am new at this but am enjoying tracing my family. I keep running across your tree as it relates to my family and adding info without having to "dig" to deep.
I am interested in how we may be related, since there is a connection, apparently.
I am a Wilson,tracking back so far to John Wright and Mary E, in williamsburg county.
Regardless, many thanks for all your work, it has made the effort back to the early 1800's much easier than it would have been. Bob.

Barbara, I so appreciate your offer and hope to take advantage of it. However , I need to get my computer up and running again to do it. This is only borrowed. Lol. I got sick of repairing it and will be buying a new one this month. Barbara, are you not connected to the Dittemore family? If I am wrong, I know I have talked to you at some time about family. I,m just getting old and confused. Ha ha. Guess I should never even joke about it. I will be back in touch with you. Linda
|Herbert Gootee||RE: William Grant Randall|
Check your e-mail. I sent a message to both you and Marcia. That is if you got it.
Thank you so much for transferring Robert & Bessie to me. I have updated both their memorials with all the information I have.
