Bio and Links
Bio Photo John James Armstrong was born in Amarillo, Potter County, TX, the son of David Clinton and Anna Marie (Goranson) Armstrong. He was reared on the family farm out from Panhandle, Carson County, TX. John graduated from Panhandle High School and The University of Texas at Austin with a BS degree in Pharmacy. He resided in MD and AL as a pharmacist for the U.S. Public Health Service. He resigned his commission and returned to Greenville, TX, where for a year he pursued a MS degree in computer science becoming a graduate school dropout. He continued his pharmacist career with McGaughey, Revco, Eckerd, and Super 1 Foods & Discount Pharmacy

His genealogy interest was inspired by an aunt, Gladys Mae Armstrong (1900-1991), in the late 1970's. From there the interest has grown more into assisting others in their research where he can rather than doing research on his family. His particular interest is in newspaper indexation as shown in a way with the Website address. The photo is from a few years back... To God be the Glory, Great Things He Has Done!

RE: Gussie Green Kiser
Thanks, According to his Death Certificate, James Elmer Kizer, 2nd husband of Gussie Green was buried in East Mount Cemetery. I do not know if there was ever a headstone. Do you know if there is one for him ? Thanks, John D. Kizer

You have posted a picture of gussie Green Kiser and just below it is a picture of a plot with her headstond and another next to it. Can you tell me who that headstone belongs to. Is it James Elmer Kiser? Thanks, John D. Kizer

Hello there :) This is a long shot in the dark. Mrs. Merrick's photo seems to want to play hide and seek??? I was wondering if you might keep your photos that you post and if by some small chance you do would you mind uploading it again to her memorial? Thank you ever so much. Karen, Montrose Michigan
