Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am originally from Hartsville, Darlington, Florence area of South Carolina. I am related to the Watkins, Williams, Browns, Kelleys , Kellys, McDonalds, and many many more. This is a great site for building family history to pass on to our children and grand children. God Bless and have a glorious day!

Revelation 21:4
King James Version (KJV)

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

P.S. Please take a moment to visit the memorial for Morgan Thompson . We went to High School together. Morgan was an orphan and had been living in the Boy's Home for a number of years. He had been talking for a couple of years about joining the Army as soon as he was old enough so he could get out of the Boy's Home. He joined the Army and came by school to show us his uniform. He had a smile from ear to ear! I will never forget how proud he looked in his dress uniform. He had just completed basic training and was on his way to Vietnam. A few short months later we got word that Morgan had been killed in combat. God bless you Morgan. You made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Freedom is not free. Through the sacrifices of many thousands of men and women like Morgan we have freedom. He was only 18! Cherish this freedom and never let it be taken away.

RE: Dorothy P. Waters

I called Evergreen Cemetery and got the information you needed:
John and Hattie Pearson - Section 9, Lot 824

Marion D. Pearson - Same as above, at the head   of Hattie's grave.

Samuel C. Hayes - Section CW, Lot N 1/2. She
said there was a marker.

If you have time, I would appreciate any pictures you can send.

Her maiden name was Jones. Don't know her parents.
This was found in the Marriage Registration below:

Florida, Marriages, 1837-1974
I.E. Lamb
birth: 1881
marriage: 26 August 1914, Jacksonville, Duval, Fl
spouse: Alice A. Jones

Isaac was a very distant cousin.
Many thanks for your hard work and for listing your friend's grave - what a memorial to a fine young man! Thanks for sharing his story,

Thank you so much for the time and quickness you sent the pictures. I really appreciate it.

I am also looking for: Marion Pearson
Ida and Sam Hayes
John Marion and Hattie Pearson
Eugene D. Hayes

They are all buried together in Evergreen Cemetery. I would also like these photos, if you have the time.

Again, thank you for helping me with my genealogy.

RE: Thank you.
Hello Johnny,

You're so welcome. I'm a little bit late discovering this site. It meant so much to me seeing my family on here. I do not get to go over to the cemetery as much as I'd like, so seeing this was wonderful and another place I can come to.
My family is the Eddinger's (Maurice, Lucia & Maureen)...they are at Arlington Park Cemetery in Jacksonville, Fla.
Thank you again, also for welcoming me here and the help. :)
