Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an attorney and court commissioner in Dodge County, Wisconsin. My lovely wife Julie and our kids Philip and Grace (and dog Howie) enjoy exploring cemeteries with me.

Like most of my fellow gravers, I do this to preserve the history of those who came before us and the often beautiful works of art that mark their final resting places - and to make the information more accessible to those who might be searching for it.

My information comes from a variety of sources, including older cemetery transcriptions done by others. Feel free to contact me with corrections, additional information, transfer requests, questions, etc. I'll be happy to help if I can.

Many Thanks
Thank you Steve for helping me out and taking a picture of Elsie White's grave. I am so happy to have it! I am working on reuniting some long last family members even if it is just on paper. I appreciate your time on my behalf!

God Bless you.

RE: Eugene Ferguson
Thanks Steve for the confirmation that he is buried there, that's mostly what I wanted. But if you do get up there and he is on that sign, I would appreciate a photo. Thanks for all you do!

Thank You for the Photo
Dear Steve,
Thank you so much for sending a photo of Francis D. Strong's grave! I have about 5 weeks to get everything prepared for the family memorial when one of his granddaughters, my aunt, is interred in the Wyocena Cemetery. I plan to bring the pictures of the grave stones to help us locate them. Plus, at least some of them are in plot 4 006, right?

If there are photos we KNOW the grave must be there!

Now I have a further request which may need to be on the website so you will get credit for your help!

I see these missing family headstones of people who are listed as being in Wyocena:

Gertrude A. Kayartz Strong 1911-1998 wife of Francis

Gordon Strong 1912-1936, brother of Francis

Earl Edward Strong 1882-1960, father of Francis

Alice L. Briffet Strong 1888-1924, mother of Francis

Francis W. Briffet 1857-1936 Father of Alice

Susan Mary Hall Briffet 1869-???? Mother of Alice

James D. Briffet 1820-1908 Grandfather of Alice

Mary Ann Davis or Davies Briffet 1820-1905 Grandmother of Alice

Probably any Strongs or Briffets are related to my aunt.

Thanks again. If you cannot do this, I will certainly understand. I am just asking in case you can! If I can do anything for you, please let me know.

Best wishes,
