Bio and Links
Bio Photo My profile would be boring, so I won't bother (you can visit my dad Mitzie the Clown instead) ... and I won't list a bunch of do this and do that's. "Help with Find A Grave" has all that.... assuming you've read them.

With sand fleas and no-see-ums biting, dodging bee's, garden snakes, and one territorial hawk, currently up against a serious gaggle of geese (ie: goose poo) - I've swept the dirt, trimmed the grass, blown off the leaves and dug out the forgotten stones. Each one will tell you a story; of love, laughter and sadness.

I take pictures. Lots of pictures. Good ones, bad ones. wyswyg. Am slowly fixin' the really bad ones. Meanwhile you will know that there is a stone.
You may use MY picture(s) any way you want. It is my gift to you. No further permission is needed, NOR credit given. This applies to MY PHOTO's ONLY. If you feel you must give credit, use my member ID# only - my name is plastered all over the www as it is.

Many contributors have given their time creating memorials for the men and women who lost their lives in service. I would like to bring attention to just this one:
2nd Lieut. Darrell K. Stoyke
Please, take a moment and visit his memorial. If the people of Eyguieres, France can build a war memorial in the center of their town to honor him, surely you can take a moment and visit his grave. If you have any information on this young man, please contact me. Thank you.

If you've left me a "thank you" - You are very welcome. I really am glad I was able to help you. Now go back to that memorial you were so happy to find and leave a Flower, a Note, some Cheetos. Anything. Show them you care and they are not forgotten.

RE: Mitzels Lancaster Rural Cemetery
I'm sorry it's taken so long to reply to your e-mail query - proximity of the two sections. I'm out photographing every day right now to the tune of 100's of photo's per day. I stumbled upon something when photographing yesterday of Emma Heineman (1885-1964) and who is next to her --- Beckers! I don't even know if any of these people are listed on F-a-G (yet). I'll try to get to them first and let you know when they're connected/added. Kathi :)

Dear Jaci,

Thanks so very much for the transfer. The Prior family is an important part of my ancestry.

Best regards, Alan

RE: Mitzels Lancaster Rural Cemetery
Came home with a few surprises - Peter Heineman's parents are on the central monument (Caroline & Frederick) and Elizabeth O. Heineman (1867-1938) is in the plot. Not sure how she fits in.

I didn't realize until I got home that I have no photo for Charles Heineman who should have been there. Either I missed his stone, or he doesn't have one so I'll double check.

The big mystery is how it connects to "Becker". You can see the name is prominent on the monument, but no names are inscribed on it. It the background of one of the pictures is a very white stone - that is Conrad Becker who belongs to these folks somehow. My guess is he is the father (birth year 1791) to either Elizabeth Mitzel or Caroline Heineman. Better yet, I wouldn't be surprised if they turn out to be sisters.

I'll also add the rest of the Heinemans to Find A Grave as soon as I can. The rest are scattered in different sections, but I think one is the William you mentioned. Cheers! Kathi

I knew I already photographed Conrad Becker years ago so I didn't take another photo. When I got home I realized it's a crappy pic (in the snow) so I'll get an updated one when I go back to see where Charles Heineman's stone is (or isn't).

RE: Mitzels Lancaster Rural Cemetery
Here we go! As far as Frederick & Elizabeth Mitzel, do you know how they connect to the surname Becker & Heineman? They're all in the same plot. If anything, it looks like one or the other of those names may be Catherine's maiden name. Not sure.

I'll see if I can help find all the missing kids for George too! What census shows all the kids so I have names to work with? Looks like I might have two very old illegible stones that will require a bit of work to read. I don't think they're Mitzels, but they're close enough in the plot that it merits a bit more sleuthing.

Carl and Carrie Hansen
Carl (101829851) and Carrie (101829841) Hansen are my greatgrandparents. Would you mind transferring their memorials to me? I have biographies and photos.

Thank you very much for considering my request.
