|Elizabeth Hart McKay Costello||August Peters and Ulricka Peters Greuel|
Good Afternoon L Winslow,
I see that you took the headstone photos of both August Peters and his sister Ulricka Peters Greuel at North Northfield Cemetery. Ulricka is my 2x Great Grandmother and I have found both her and August's obituaries. They only confirm the strong relationship indicated on his headstone but mention nothing about other siblings, where they were born or who their parents were. I am wondering if there are any other burials of note near August and Ulricka? Any other Peters or Greuel family headstones? Many thanks in advance for your help.
I accepted the change for the maiden name of Mabel Wilson but I then changed the spelling from Gonzer to Gonser to reflect the spelling on her parents headstones.

Thank you so much for submitting the changes for the Wilson family. Iím sorry for the delay in getting to this.
I changed the information for the place of death for Frank Wilson because the death place you provided (Libertyville) seemed to conflict with the information that I found.
From the obituary, it looks like he died in a hospital in Waukegan rather than in Libertyville (although it does look like he was living in Libertyville when he died). His death in Waukegan appears confirmed by the death record.
You also provided the maiden name for Jennett Wilson (Roscoe). I have a question for you though and am wondering if Jennett Wilson is the wife of Frank Wilson. The reason that Iím asking is that I found an obituary for ďMrs. Frank WilsonĒ but the first name is never mentioned in the obituary. Iím guessing that she is the wife of Frank since this was the only Wilson obituary for 1935 (plus, the name of one of the sons being Roscoe appears to be circumstantial evidence!!) and would be consistent with the dates on the headstone, but I wanted to make sure rather than assume and Iím hoping that you have that information.
Because Iím compulsive when I receive edits (ha ha ha!), I did pull the obituaries for Frank Wilsonís parents, for whom you provided the edits and whose memorials you seem to be maintaining. I am sending you those obits if you would like to add them to your memorials (but I wonít be offended if you donít want to). The one for Eliza Jane Shepard Wilson is quite nice.
Thank you again for submitting the edits for these memorials. I really do appreciate it!

I don't have access either. I live no where near there. All the records for him list only an R. initial as shown on his grave stone, including his military record. So I will continue to show his name as in on his SS, military, and grave stone. I have so many members that contradict each other with edits I can only approve edits that if questioned I can verify. When you are able to verify otherwise with legal records I will gladly take that into consideration, for now though I will post their SS to show their names as listed in a legal document.

You need to send the records from their memorial, not on the message board. I will need to verify the names before I can approve the edit. TY

OK that memorial is deleted. Your request seems in keeping with Find A Grave guidelines. But, considering that the remaining record has no more information than is posted on IowaGravestones.org, may I ask: Did you even look at my record before asking for it to be deleted ? I can see that you were on the memorial to send me your request. But did you actually read what was there ?

Hi, Thanks so munch for the quick reply. I don't like to decline edits if I don't need to. Sometimes the requester has additional info.
In this case, it seemed like Albertina made more sense as a middle name than a maiden name, so I did a little checking. I did update the Albetina to the name.
