I live in Omaha, Nebraska. The most interesting cemetery I have been to so far has been Grand Lake Cemetery, Colorado. It is in Rocky Mountain National Park and the stones are very unusual. |
I started out doing this for my family and realized soon on that it is a great way to help people all around the world.
I am not a memorial hoarder. I will gladly release the memorial to someone else to manage as long as it is not one of my relatives. I list as a hobby and to help people. Don't be afraid to ask me. I would rather have the memorial in the hands of a relative than a stranger. I am a reasonable person.

I asked for a photo of the headstone and it has been reported that the cemetery has no record of anyone by this name. Can I ask of your certainty that Lula is buried at the recorded cemetery?

Hi again Patti.
As it is almost certain that others will 'save' (ie copy) your Nellor grave photos from my tree I would prefer to include a note of credit which will transfer with them and will show the source.
Many thanks again for taking the photos and for allowing me to use them.
Good luck with your own grave searches.

Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to action my request for three Nellor grave photos at Beemer Cemetery. The family has an interesting history. They left a small village in Hampshire in 1856 and after a short stay in Australia they made their way to Nebraska and became a pioneer family in Beemer. Your photos have helped to illustrate their Find A Grave memorials and they are very much appreciated.
I would also be most grateful if you would allow me to illustrate their pages on my Ancestry family tree with your photos. I shall, of course, be happy to credit you with taking the photos and for giving me permission to use them with the caption: ‘Photo taken by Patti Filley (Find A Grave) and used with her kind permission’. I hope this will be OK with you.
Thanks and best regards,
David Neller (#47482893)

Many thanks for adding a photo of his marker. That cemetery a remote one. You are the first person to respond to my 4+ year old request.
A question: I had believed that he had a military headstone from other online sources. Was there a second marker? If so, did you happen to capture an image?
Also: would it be possible for you send me a large file...2MB great!
I would use that to manipulate the image for possible future publication. You get credit for the image of course!
Thank you again for posting the photo. Appreciate your time on the other considerations!

Patti; On the Shafer graves - I believe you have the spouses list wrong - Mattie Shafer is married to Thomas Shafer - NOT to how you have listed - And The childern might also be possibly listed wrong as I not yet checked those yet! Ronald

Hello ... I believe the wrong photo has been added to this memorial. Please verify. Thank you!

What a cool stone! The Födt i means Born in, but I am having a very hard time finding how to enter Viborg into the Birth place area. With the Födt i hölsen Viborg.Amt part I am beginning to wonder if this is part of the German/Danish Schleswig-Holstein area.

In any case, thank you so much!
