One of the best features of Find A Grave is that it provides a forum where years of genealogical research can be shared with others. Please let me know if you have additional biographical or statistical information for any of my memorials, as it is always welcome. The wealth of knowledge that others have sent to me through Find A Grave is astounding. |
If you are aware of links for parents and/or spouses that I have not yet added, I would appreciate it if you would use the edit tab to leave the name and Find A Grave number of the person or people who should be linked.
Thanks to all those who have generously shared your family stories and beautiful photos with me. I sincerely appreciate being allowed to add them to the memorials for your loved ones. The pictures and studio portraits that for years have been carefully preserved in family photo albums, add such a wonderful dimension to Find A Grave. They help create a memorial tribute that is all the more special and meaningful.
Transfers will be considered only if they comply strictly with Find A Grave guidelines. You must state your exact relationship to the deceased. Bulk surname transfers will not be made.
I have put a lot of time and effort into Find A Grave. I strive to make sure that the information on my memorials is as accurate as possible, but I am realistic and know that mistakes do happen. Please use the edit tab to leave a message regarding any errors or omissions that need to be corrected.
By working together, we can continue to build Find A Grave into a better and better site!
Note: 30 Sep 2013 marked a very sad day for all Find A Grave contributors when the founder of this website sold us out to ancestry.com.
I will continue to add to and maintain my memorials as long as Find A Grave remains a completely free website, open to all without charge.

|Bob Powers||William Franklin Powers|
I was working on Powers family trees when I found the branch buried in the Scenic Hill Cemetery in Grafton, Jersey, Illinois.
I saw that you had mentioned that you couldn't find William Franklin Powers' headstone.
Could it be that Frank Powers (Find A Grave Memorial# 126993753) is the same person?
|Yvette Elliott||RE: Ruth E. Rhein|
Your welcome! She is off of my Grandma's side of the family, and I hate to see someone not connected to either their parents or spouse or siblings. It just doesn't seem right. Anyway, I'm glad if the info helps you and anyone else who is looking to find their tree/roots.
|A. Johnson||RE: Beverly Johnson|
Glad to help.
I have been researching other members of the Johnson family as well, and I'm happy to share anything else I can.
|James Richard Ouimette||Mahala Garrison Fuller|
Thank you so much for your photo of Mahala's gravesite! She was my dad's great grandmother. Mahala and Richard Fuller's youngest child was Laura Jane, who married Thomas Howell and gave birth to five girls, of which the youngest was Winifred Rachel Howell. Winifred was Dad's mother.
Would you mind transferring ownership of Mahala's website to me? I manage her daughter Laura and granddaughter Winifred's FindaGrave sites.
Mahala's husband Richard died in 1859 in Grafton on their farm. Do you have any idea where Richard might be buried?
|Ervin||William Wesley Smith obit|
I can't thank you enough for posting William's obit. Thank you thank you.He is my great great grandfather.

Thank you. I have processed the edits.
|Brent Stevens||Florence Feigenbaum|
We happen to personally know Florence's younger brother Charles.
|Brent Stevens||Infant Son Feigenbaum (Find A Grave Memorial# 82480971)|
Since the mother Florence is buried in the North cemetery, I would also assume that the stillborn child would also be buried there rather than in the Old Section on which I am working. I have transferred the page back to you. Thanks.
|Brianna Chase||Added photo for Jessica Kamp|
Hello Lynn, I submitted a photo of the backside of Ms. Jessica Kamp's memorial from Cresswell Cemetery, Calhoun County, IL. Please reset the order of photos if you so desire, thanks.
|Jeff Kirn||Lesley Kirn|
Hi Lynn. I have created a new site for Page Harrell named after his granfather of the same name, (my first one). We found it underground and reset it. I was wondering if you could add a name to the list of children for Louis L. Kirn (husband of Minnie Ingle). One of the children is not listed. He is Lesley Kirn. He was my grandfather Carl's youngest brother. He is buried at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward California but there is no find a grave site for him and I cannot find him mentioned on their site. He is definitely there as confirmed by his daughter. I have a picture of Lesley with my father. That would complete the list of Louis and Minnie's children. Thank you for your help. Jeff Kirn
