Valentine [Sollner] Sullivan: FAG Memorial# 141060878

Dear Cousin Everett:

I haven't heard from you lately, but I pray you are well and having better weather than we are here in DC.

Everett, today I write once again to request your assistance. Of course, I'm aware of your devotion and determination to attain historical accuracy. You may remember that Valentine is a 3GGF of mine. This being the case you will no doubt appreciate that I'd be delighted if Valentine's grave is located.

However, neither OhioGravestone.com, or BillionGraves.com, have a listing, nor the surviving Sullivan family members, but then their memories have been dimmed by three generations of removal from the event and location.

Strangely, none of the 84 Find A Grave volunteers from within ten miles of "Old Dutch Cemetery, nor the additional Find A Grave 1,335 volunteers for up to 50 miles away, have yet produced a single photo of his grave.

So, I'd like to request any evidence, documentation, photographic proof, or citations you may have drawn upon to enable an attribution of the Old Dutch Cemetery as the last resting place for Valentine. Thanks in advance for your collaboration in this regard. Hope I can reciprocate in the future. Let me know if you might require any look-ups at the LOC, NARA, or the DAR Library. Warm fraternal regards from...

your kinsman,
Paul

My pleasure! I took pictures of some of her family member's gravestones while I was there. I'll try to get them up this weekend! Take care, Kathleen

Happy to take the photos! The quality is not as good as I had hoped. I can retake if needed. I'm still working on the list of request.

HI,
I'm so glad I could help ! I can photograph Elizabeth's headstone again later this year once all of the wreaths have been laid in early December. It truly is a beautiful sight to see all of the fresh wreaths w/red bows adorning thousands of graves.

Take Care !
