Bio and Links
Bio Photo Find a grave has been an excellent source for genealogy. Tracing my family to the Revolutionary War and beyond has been exciting. Enjoy helping others when I'm at a slow down in researching. Researching: Myers, Shunk, Klingensmith, Stitt, Allshouse, Mechling all from Western, Pennsylvania of German Descent.Stephen,Ritchie, Williams,Huddy, and Glasson's all from England. Mattson (Kovanen), and Tepsa (Jessio) from Sweden and Finland.

Emanuel Stitt
Don't seem to have an Emanuel Stitt in my database. My Stitt family is from the Bloomingburg NY area. My 45th great grandfathers brother William Stitt who married Sarah Bodine went to Bloomingburg, Fayette County, Ohio around 1800. I don't have an Emanuel as a son of his but he had a son William Harvey Stitt born in 1803. I don't have any futher information on his family. The 1825 birth date of your Emanuel may fit with this William.

There is also another Stitt family from Western Pennsylvania unrelated to mine. I don't know if any of them may have gone to Ohio.

Let me know if you find a connectionto William Harvey Stitt.

Your edit message is confusing. Do you have a link to his wife and is their a memorial for her that I can add to? Thanks
