I live in Kansas. I have been doing family history research for over 20 years and LOVE it. I very much enjoy walking, photographing and recording info from cemeteries, especially the older ones. Since finding FindAGrave I have made many more family connections because of people's time and hard work putting the info on here. So I am just trying to do the same, help someone find their family connections. These memorial don't BELONG to me, they are a memorial to remember our loved ones. If you are related let me know, and I will gladly make a transfer so that you can add more info to the memorial. Or I would be happy to add any info that you want added, just ask. After all, isn't that what this is all about. God Bless and Happy Hunting!!:)|

I have some news for you. You say that John Peter Rounkles was your grandfather right? Well, his brother Joseph was my grandfather. The name is Runkles. And, John Peter wrote his name as Rounkles. We are cousins. John Peter was my Uncle. And, Sarah Ann Francis-Rounkles was my Aunt. So now you know how we are related.

I looked in Block 232 at Ida Grove cemetery for Robert Gray but did not see a marker. There is an open spot in that area right next to an Elizabeth Gray. I could post a picture showing the empty spot and Elizabeth's marker if you wish.

What a wonderful surprise to start my day. Thank you so much for the transfer of my Aunt and Uncle. I appreciate the time and effort spent in your posting of their memorials in the first place. Keep up with your postings. You are a great addition to Find-A-Grave.

I see that you requested a photo of Lennie's head stone. but I remember I didn't find a stone for him. I see he is the son of V and C. Is that Vincent and Clara? I see there is another son as well, Louie. but I have no info on the boys at all just their names. Do you have info when they were born etc.? I would so appreciate any info on this family that you might have. thanks so much.
I keep the records at the cemetery here and would love to have more info on them thanks again.

You are missing one son of AT and Sarah's-- Amos Tiffin Davis LaRue, Jr. He was the oldest of the children. I don't have any information other than what my Grandma Ullom said and that he that he was a shiftless fellow.
|Dolores J. Rush||The LaRue's|
Thank you for maintaining the memorials of my great-grandparents and great-great grandparents, Daniel LaRue and Amos Tiffen Davis "AT" LaRue and all their descendants. I hope you don't mind, but I've been adding personal photographs to their memorials. I wrote a biography on the LaRue's on my genealogy & biography blogs. God bless.
