The News (Frederick, Maryland) - Feb. 10, 1972
Mrs. Maggie P. Pickett, 82, formerly of Mt. Airy, wife of the late George A. Pickett, died Wednesday at the Baltimore City Hospital.
Born near Mt. Airy, she was the daughter of the late Perry G. and Lucinda Becraft Burette.
She was a member of Howard Chapel United Methodist Church, Long Corner.
Surviving are a son George W. Pickett, Baltimore; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Amos D. Burette, Damascus.
Friends may call at Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, Damascus, today from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Howard Chapel Cemetery.
