Retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer with over 29 years of service. I am also the wife of a retired US Army soldier and the mother of a soldier who was injured in Iraq from an IED but was able to complete his tour of duty! SUPPORT THE TROOPS!!!!

After having problems with a couple of contributors, I will follow the Findagrave guidelines for transferring memorials.

28 Mar-AGAIN! DUE TO ANCESTRY.COM CHANGING FLOWERS ON MEMORIALS WITHOUT SUGGESTION OR WARNING AND MODIFYING MY BIO -NO INFORMATION, I REPEAT NO INFORMATION, OR PICTURES I HAVE ADDED TO ANY MEMORIAL MAY BE USED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR REPOSTED/CROPPED IN ANY WAY AS HIS/HER OWN PHOTOS. Findagrave's OWN rules state this is copyrighted to the person who originally added it.

For those making suggestions, please research and provide the researched information for me to update. Additionally; 1: If someone has a duplicate memorial, courtesy is to ask that individual to delete it FIRST before asking Findagrave to get involved, and 2. When you receive an edit request please DO NOT update the information you received and then decline the edit you received - that is just NOT cool!

HEADSTONE PHOTO VOLUNTEERS-If you volunteer and post headstone photos, please take a photo of the COMPLETE marker. I find more and more some individuals crop the bottom of the markers off - especially on military grave sites, which does an injustice to our veterans and the photos were supposedly taken by ex-military individual(s). You took the time to take the photo, then PLEASE take the time to crop correctly.

I work hard on Findagrave and have sponsored quite a few memorials. Please be a contributor and not just a person who adds names. It's great to see the people who do provide research.

I made the mistake.
Hello again, being very new to findagrave I went back and checked my Ancestry tree to find that I had Frank Largent's birth year wrong.

So Willie must have been his son.

We have no record of him so this is a wonderful
new discovery.

Thank you for that!!

Sorry I made the mistake

Addison Cemetery Burial Question
I am interested in finding more information on a burial in Addison Cemetery.

It is memorial # 37951628

Willie B Largent

I am sure that he cannot be the son of Frank and Nannie (Nancy) Largent as he was born before Frank Largent was.

I wish his stone was more clear.

I appreciate the pictures and memorials of the Largent graves at Addison as they are my husband's relatives.

I just wish I could read his stone. I'm just not sure who his parents actually were.

Any help greatly appreciated

RE: Arias Relatives
Hello Sherlock,

You are amazing! Thank you so much. I really appreciate what you have done. I'm not sure what this means. Do I have to do anything in particular to maintain their memorials? Bless you always for what you do to help others.

I have read the Bio on Laura Lee Tipton. All of your info is correct. My mother is Joan Tipton Byrd. I have info on her brother Harry Thomas Tipton and Sister Betty Tipton Ritter. Are you related?? How if so?

Thank you so much for taking the time to go to the Ft. Bliss cemetery to photography Silas and Martha Merritt's headstones! They are my great-grandparents. It's fun to know that there are other family-history junkies out there who are gracious enough to help us on our quests! Out of curiosity, was Martha's headstone separate, or is her name engraved on the back of Silas's headstone?

Thanks again!

RE: William Gordon at Ft Bliss
Thanks a bunch for going out there to take a picture of my Uncle Bill's temporary marker nonetheless! I had thought, after I submitted the request, that it may be a bit too soon to see the actual marker. Thanks for your trouble!
