I am a descendant of Benners Ensley who was born in Hyde County, NC. Most of my entries are family members, who I have researched, on my mother and father's side. Then I have included special friends that have touched my life throughout the years as well as people from North Carolina that I don't even know in hopes that I can help someone else that may be researching their family tree. You will see people from Hyde, Currituck, Beaufort, Washington, & Dare Counties.|

Please add Rodanthe, NC to this address as there are many O'Neal Cemeteries on the Outer Banks. Thank you.

No problem. If you have any other questions or concerns just let me know. If I can get a copy of the cemetery record I'll send it to you.
|Roibeard53||Strasburger at Rosehill and Rosedale|
I checked the online name search feature the cemetery has and the name Strasburger does not come up. It looks like there is no grave for Mr. Strasburger because he was cremated rather than buried. The bottom left of the death certificate has a line for "Place of Burial or Cremation." The place listed is Rosehill Crematory not Rosehill Cemetery. This indicates that his remains were cremated and the ashes given to the family. If the ashes had been placed in a vault as some ashes are, the name Strasburger would have appeared in the name search. Since it did not, his ashes must not be there. Sorry I couldn't help you with a photo. Take care.
I am happy to help others with their memorials. The reason that I did not fulfill your other request is that the stone is on the ground and damaged. I hated to post a stone in that condition.
Thanks for the transfer!
