|in memory of grandma||RE: Earl Whittaker Family|
Thanks for the message. I must be getting old as I don't recall the message I sent you. I'm guessing it was about Leon and wondering if there were any birth dates for his brothers. If I didn't tell you before, I'm not technically related to the Whittaker family. Rather, Otis Jesse Whittaker's sister (Bertha) married Francis Odle. Francis' mother Gracy Ethel (Jenkins) Odle was a neice of my maternal grandmother's paternal grandmother. Back when I was sending out lots of Whittaker SAC's it was after someone asked me to hook Bertha up with one of her parents. As a result, I started to think they should all be linked up. I enjoy linking up families in findagrave as I figured that though we are all buried seperately, we are all part of a larger family. Plus many living loved ones may not have time to travel all over to various cemeteries, so the links in findagrave help. It doesn't replace actually going to a grave, but it is better than those who cannot go at all.
Thanks as always for all you do in findagrave. While I don't remember the actual message I sent you, it was probably because you are one of the contributers who is dedicated to doing the best job on the memorials. So there was no need to commit it to memory. Again thanks, and I hope your weather isn't too icy this Sunday!

|Douglas C. Johnson||Memorial Image|
My name is Douglas C. Johnson and I was wondering if I could have your permission to use your photograph of the graves of Donald "Don" Houck and Mable Houck (maiden name unknown) at Blue Eye Cemetery in Blue Eye, Stone County, Missouri on the FamilySearch Family Tree website. I would of course list it with full credit given to you for the use of the image.

Thank you SO much. Your picture is so much cleaner & clearer than the one I took about 6 weeks ago!! I saved yours to my my computer because it is so good. Thank you! Do you put chalk on the fronts & in the engraving to make it show up better? I need to make a run to Arkansas & try and get a better pic of my G.G. Grandfather's stone. You simply cannot read what it says in my photo. I need to research a temporary way to photograph them better.
Thank you again for the transfer and for your continuation on find a grave. These listing are priceless for those of us researching our family history.
I am Glenda McClelland, Co-State Director for Kansas Gravestones Organization. I would like to have your permission to use your photographs from Find A Grave and use them on our site, Kansasgravestones.org. We are just starting up and looking for help in obtaining pictures for Kansas. We will give you full credit for your photos. I have seen your gravestone photos and they are great. I would like to thank you for your good work that you do for Find A Grave. It is a wonderful endeavor that is being done so family and friends can see where their loved ones are resting. It is a great opportunity for those who are unable to visit at the graveside of those they cherished and loved.
Thank you and I do hope we can be of service to you sometime. Please get in touch with me at the following email address: email@example.com.
