Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in the Fayette County Il. area and weather permitting can take cemetery photos at request. If you are a family member or researcher you may use them for your trees. In turn please pay it forward by doing the same kindness for another if you can.
Sharing just a small story, working down at the tail of Fayette co. and I saw my first red fox, what a blessing after it finally saw me and ran toward the woods it turned to look at me and pose for a photo.

I think it is wonderful that Find a Grave and Ancestry have teamed up and these links connect with searches. Cemetery records are a great source that we put on the memorials that cannot be found on Ancestry. I get joy out of finding members of families that don't have any records. I do this from the heart and please feel free to use my stone photos for your trees.

Thanks for the fast reply. I'll get it all mapped out now that I have something to go on! You've been a great help.

Causey Cemetary location
I will be visiting central Illinois next month and was hoping to visit the Causey cemetery. However, I have not had much luck in finding it on a map. Could you possibly provide directions? I will be in the Decatur area and visiting cemeteries from my mothers family. I would like to add the Causeys to that trip. R Robison, Gaston SC

RE: Eugen Aaron Kurtz
Gladyce Kurtz was my high school speech teach at Alamo Heights High in San Antonio,TX. I liked her very much. Her only child, Eugene, was adopted. He died recently, I added him on a memorial the other day. I have looked every possible location for info on her. I can think to to is call her family, grandchildren. They are listed on Obit for Gene in Austin. His Obit is on the internet.

Anna,

Found a notation in one of the Marion County Footprints that says this ...

"Feb 16, 1915 - Mrs. Barbara E. PIPPIN. former Patoka resident who died in North Dakota, was returned and buried at Morris Cemetery. (CS) (Centralia Sentinel, dated 16 February 1915)."

Would you like to add she died in North Dakota?

Still looking for this first husband McNichol(s), can't find them anywhere. They had to marry before 1880 census, because I've found all of them except that one.

RE: Fayette Co. cemeteries
Don't live nearby so not going to the cemeteries. Just trying to track down where the descendants of Henry Sprinkle & Catherine Boyd Sprinkle are buried. For instance, Melvin Edward Sprinkle's obituary indicates he was buried at South Hill. . .but I was told years ago by family that he was buried at Fairlawn. So when I created his memorial back in 2011, I created it in Fairlawn. . .but now not sure that's right. But I suppose since the sign shows both cemetery names it doesn't really matter.

RE: Fayette Co. cemeteries
It is confusing, though. Judging from some of the old obituaries I have, they say burial in South Hill cemetery but they show up in Fairlawn.

RE: Fayette Co. cemeteries
Thank you. Wonder if Find A Grave should combine the two cemeteries and show the AKA.
