I enjoy going to the cemeteries to get photos for my family. I came across this site and became a volunteer to help others find info on their loved ones. While I am out getting the photos for the requests I accept I find all the family members and post their photos also. If you have any special requests feel free to email me and I will help out any way possible. Happy Hunting Dan

Great idea about including that information in his bio. Here is the note I added there-

A slab is all that now remains of Warren's headstone. To the right of it lies a marker for his mother, Queen Crooks. Beyond hers are the markers for Norris, Willie, & Nelson Crooks. (This information and a photo were provided courtesy of Findagrave Contributor #47856439 on July 13, 2014.)

I think it would be fine to post the slab photo and a note saying there was no stone on the slab and put the date you took the picture behind the note in ( ).

Does that seem okay?

If not, I'm sure how you fix it will be fine with me. Thank you for all the time and effort you have invested.

God Bless You!

You mentioned finding his marker when you were taking pictures. Wasn't sure if you planned to make a memorial for him or not. I have been watching to see and I noticed you hadn't as yet. I had some time today so I created one (which I will be more than happy to delete, if you wish). The # is 132294338, if you are okay with me adding the memorial and wish to post the tombstone photo. Otherwise, just let me know and as I mentioned will delete.

Thank you for all of your work and help.
God Bless You!

RE: Matilda Cloy
Thank you for all of your help. It appears she may not have a stone.

I do have a question, I have been trying to figure out burial locations for the patriarch/matriarch of this family - George & Catherine Palmer. They moved the family from OH to Dekalb County in the mid-1800's and then both died there. It appears Evergreen is one of the oldest cemeteries in the county. Also, three of their children are buried there. This leads me to believe they may be buried there too.

If you ever have the cemetery records in front of you again, do you mind taking a peek to see if they may be buried there?

Again, I appreciate all of your help!
