Find a Grave Photos
I am writing a two-volume book on the 8th Indiana. I would like to include photos of the soldiers and their headstones with their biographies. I would like to use some of your photos in the book and will give you credit in the caption for each photo. If you are interested, I can let you know when the book is published. If it is ok to use your photos, could you also give you your first and last name for the captions?

And I was looking for someone who was researching the family, and I found YOU.

In Pennsylvanis, Lewistown, Mifflin County, in the small Maitland Church of the Brethren Cemetery, I found 5 Howenstine's - parents and 3 children.

William Howenstine - #159342905
Lucy A - #159335726
William A - #159335348
Andrew J - #159342577
Harriet C - #159342217

If these people have been long lost, here they are. There are no other Howenstines that I have found in the cemetery, so far. If you read my bio I am focused on the Maitland Church of the Brethren Cemetery, connecting the relatives and providing the best pictures possible.

Stewart Homestead Cemetery location

I'm hoping to visit some Central Indiana cemeteries at some point and would like to include the Stewart Homestead Cemetery and get GPS coordinates for it (William Stewart was my 5th great grandfather). Do you have any more information about its location?

RE: Edna May Baker
Will be happy to email Edna's death certificate, please email your email address. Also, if you are related I would be happy to transfer her memorial to your care as I am not related.

Today is the second time I go and they can't find him. Could he be under another name?

Henry McQuiniff
Hi Tammy

I just submitted a correction to Henry's date of death. I believe you had his wife's death date instead of his. The correct date of death for Henry should be Nov. 29, 1926 per Ohio Death Records.

Cousin, Becky

Matthew Cumings
Hey there T Kronenberg. I am so happy yo find this picture of my great great grandpa Thomas Cumings. I'm trying to figure out where his father, James was born. It seems he moved to Delaware County in the 1830s instead of doing the Cherokee Trail of Tears business, but I can't be sure. Any information on the history of the Cumings, with one m, would be useful!

: )

Hit me back at if you want. Cheers.
