I became interested in genealogy after my Father passed away. I felt a need to "find my roots". Find a Grave has been so helpful to me in my search. Obituaries hold a wealth of information, and often allow me to find a "link" to reconnect parents and families.

If you are related and I have a memorial for one of your loved ones, please contact me by clicking on the edit tab on the upper right hand corner of the memorial and then clicking the suggest a correction link to ask for a transfer. Connecting families, both past and present, is what it is all about!!

RE: Robert and Anna Gray
Thank you so much.
If you graduated with Casey, then you may know Mark Clark. He is my uncle and his wife is my mom's sister.

Small World.

Thanks again

After I processed the edits you sent, I was checking to make sure everything went through okay and I noticed that this is a duplicate of Infant Swallow #74148251. I will move my picture and wanted to ask if you would send your edits to the other memorial.
thank you and have a nice day!

I wondered if you might be related to the Pences as we seem to put flowers on a lot of the same memorials. My dad is Earl Pence, Esther's brother.

I can't thank you enough for taking the time to check into this for me!!!!!!! I hope someday I can repay the favor to you!!!
I have the same newspaper clipping that you have mine was in the Ft Wayne newspaper, but nothing was said where he would be buried.. His sons lived in Ft Wayne maybe they had him buried there or back in Henry Co where his parents are buried.. I'll have to check into it the next time I fly back to Indy.... Again THANK YOU!!!!

THANK YOU so much for taking the time to find Richard's Obit!
It is sad that he died so young but surgery was very dangerous back then. We were afraid that he had died of TB like so many of his siblings.

The typo re his wife's name - maybe the reporter thought it was a mistake that hie wife and mother had the same first name.

All your efforts are very appreciated.

RE: Emily Nation Leakey
Jane, There was piece in the Ft Wayne paper about his death, just said Muncie Ind Aaron B Leakey died at the home of Oliver West. I believe it was Mar 2, 1895 but said nothing where he was buried.

He was married 3 times
1. Anna Paul (grandmother Im still look for her Cemetery) Death was Jan 1 1877 Huntington Co. Indiana

2. Mary Bowles Gray Leakey Married Sept 1 1878 death Nov 29 1882 Huntington Co Indiana. Im guessing she buried with first husband William Gray.

3. Mary Losh Leakey death May 29 1911 she is buried in Beach Grove Cemetery in Muncie Indiana.

I would think he is buried with wife #3 in Beach Cem.

Note spelling of our last name is LEAKEY but other spelling I have find is Lakey, & Leaky

Not sure if this infor would be helpful to locate.. My email is if u have any question...

Thank you Jodi
