I have been working on my family genealogy for about 27 years and enjoy helping others in the process. What a great website we have here to be able to help others with their research and bringing so many families together in the process.
See the Curtis/s Family Society for all your Curtis/s Family history at: http://www.curtis-curtiss.org/home.asp
Under the "EDIT" key: You can Suggest a correction or provide additional information for any entry that I have made. Please send over the Parents and Spouse links on this also. You can also ask for a transfer under the EDIT key, then I have your ID # and can easily do the transfer for you.
I would be happy to transfer ownership of a record that I have added, if they are family and have more information that they would like to add.
Thank you for all the flowers and notes that have been added to the memorials that I have posted.
Nellie Hollon D. Winchester cemetery Hi thanks for putting her on find a grave ,my name is Shirley Durham she is my grandmother .She was brought back from New York because her last wishes was to be brought back to Kentucky where she was born in and to be laid to rest with her daughter Ivory Hockensmith in the Winchester cemetery, I did laid her to rest with my mom and her daughter like she asked ,If anyone has information on Nellie I really could use it for a family tree ,between 1930-1940 she hardly left a trail ,I know my mom was born in 1937 ,and I know she lived and worked in Indiana making parachutes for the army ,I did find a small link that said she was in the military, and I know she lived in Georgia, she came back to Winchester Ky.after her daughter my mom lost her battle with cancer in 1993 then she moved to New York to live with family, I was also informed that she had another child and he lives I think in Lexington Ky ,I have pictures of her but between 1940-1993 I have no information on marriages or anything, I never met my mom dad and do not know who he is ,I do know her maiden name is Hollon ,but she also used Dunn as her maiden name also ,Dunn is my mom's maiden name but she also used Hollon as a maiden name if anyone has any information please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks
