The Genealogists Psalm|
Genealogy is my pastime, I shall not stray.
It Maketh me lie down and examine half-buried tombstones. It Leadeth me into still courthouses;
It restoreth my ancestral knowledge.
It leadeth me in paths of census records and ship's passenger lists for my surname's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the shadows of research libraries and microfilm readers,
I shall fear no discourgement.
For a strong urge is within me;
The curiosity and motivation they comforteth me.
It annointeht my head with burning mid-night oil; My family group sheets runneth over.
Surely birth, marriage, and death dates shall follow me all the days of my life;
And I shall dwell in the house of a family history seeker forever.
My family surnames are Kudsk, Kusk, Neilsen, Rassmussen, Sorensen, Christiansen, More, Taylor, Lee, Brown, Torrey, Sessions, Price, Wing, Richards, Greene, Tirell, Haviland, Almy and Barlowe.
I am also working on my children's deceased father's family. These names would be McArthur, McDonald, Wadsworth, Calebaugh, Mallory, Revill, Atkinson, Ellis, and Byrd.
If anyone has information on these names, I would be very interested.

|Peck-Millay||RE: Pvt. Bishop Lee|
I have left several edits linking him to family, his middle name and his birth info. Hope they get put in so his memorial will be complete. He is related through my Maternal Grandmother. He's also related through another avenue of the family. Happy Genealogy Hunting...
Thank you, likewise, for adding the obit.
I see you have also stopped by Fred's wife, Mabel's, memorial. I imagine you saw the clipping I added. I just ran across that in a family scrap book. Angie Dierks Schmidt, Mabel's great granddaughter, is married to my cousin, Tyler. So maybe that makes us shirttail relatives?
In any event, thank you for touching base.

You're welcome. I'm always glad to help.
This may be a long shot, but did you happen to photograph the grave of Robert Hughes (#150827734) during your 2012 visit to this cemetery?

Hi Norma! I'm so happy I was able to help you find your Aunt's grandfather. If there is anyone else that might also be in this cemetery, please send me their name and I'll see if I can find them on my next trip there.

|Jan teacher||Mary Wade|
Do you have any more information on Mary
Wade 1871-1896 Shiloh Valley Cemetery, Shiloh, IL. I believe she may be my great grandmother.
|Cindy Coffell||RE: Harriet Morehouse More|
I sent it to your email address :-)

Click on the edit button right next to Burial:
Then click on continue if Cemetery burial is highlighted then type in Cross Creek Cemetery, it probably won't let you type in the whole thing, but it ill search for it when you type in the state and then chose from the list. Cross Creek Cemetery #3. If you need more help, don't hesitate to ask. Vonna
