Bio and Links
Bio Photo My photos are freely available for non-profit use, including using them on your public & private online Ancestry trees. Enjoy!

If I created the memorial, I probably have a photo to go with it. If you don't see one (and it doesn't say "No marker"), please ask. I have lots to add, just haven't gotten to them yet. If one is important to you, please submit a photo request - I answer those first.

Happy to add links too - submit a SAC and I'll make the update!

I am actively engaged in a stone by stone survey of St. Mary's Cem, Minoa, NY. If you have kin buried there, I may have additional info about them, particularly older burials in Sections I & II. Feel free to ask/share.

Creating memorials and fulfilling photo requests is a labor of love for me. If you appreciate something I've added, please pay it forward!

Myers family
Thanks for the photo. Anthony & Anna Myers, along with their sons Peter, John, George, & Frank lived in Syracuse from about 1847 thru 1867. John died there and is buried at the old St Mary's Cemetery in Manlius. They moved to Wisconsin in 1867 but Anthony had a new wife so I was looking for a grave for Anna. It appears this is not the correct Anna since the husband on this stone is Peter. Also I lost track of George so am looking for his grave. Are you located around Syracuse? I'm coming to Syracuse on a business trip in Sep. if we can talk during my visit that would be great. Again Thanks

Sampson Photos
Thanks for adding the photos of John and Ellen Sampson. Am I correct in assuming the inscription is on two sides of the same stone?

Thank you very much for getting Adams tombstone photo. It is greatly appreciated.

As big as the stone is I don't know how I missed it.

Tallman in Tully

Your Tallman headstone photos are absolutely beautiful. Thank you so very much for photographing and sharing! Have hoped to see Sabra's headstone and didn't even known if it was still standing. Thanks for all you do.

RE: Kelsey graves in St. Mary's Minoa
I was hoping she was buried next to him!

I had found her possible SSDI information:

Name: Harriet Kelsey
Last Residence: 13057 East Syracuse, Onondaga, New York, USA
BORN: 9 Jun 1886
Died: Oct 1973
State (Year) SSN issued: New York (Before 1951)

However, I could not find an obituary, so I could not verify DOB & DOD and know that SSDI lists "last residence" not place of death. At least know I know her burial location.

Thank you.

Dewey stones
Hi Skip,
Thank you so much for your quick response in fulfilling my request. You mentioned many other Dewey's in that cemetery which I will be sending requests for in the near future.

You mention in your bio that taking these pictures is a labor of love, and I totally agree. I fulfilled my first request this week and it's totally fulfilling.

Thanks again,
