My wife and I grew up in Jasper County, Missouri. Our parents, grandparents, all great-grandparents except one, and some of our great-great-grandparents are buried in Jasper and Barton Counties. I have posted many of our relatives and have updated several. When requesting updates the memorials are frequently transferred to me. Also some contributors are no longer active and Find A Grave has transferred memorials. Therefore I manage many more than I have posted and am willing to transfer according to the Find A Grave rules. Gray and Summerset cemeteries are of great interest so I have added memorials for persons buried in those cemeteries and for many of their descendants. I appreciate the help provided by several contributors who live in Jasper County.

Elizabeth McFall info
Hi, Ed,
I was wondering if you are related to these families? I am a descendant of Elizabeth's brother, John Wm Ellington. I have verified that the family was in Texas in 1856, which was the year stated on Elizabeth's death certificate, and, in the 1860 census records of ARK...
If there is evidence to challenge those years/places/ etc I would love to have it shared.
Thanks a bunch,
Sandra Ellington-Freeman

question about suggested edit
Regarding your suggested correction for Malissa Ridgill, in Beard Cemetery, Owasco, Carroll Co., Indiana, you suggested places for birth and death. Are you *sure* about that information? If so, what is your source, please? While we know where she was buried, and while it's reasonable to assume birth & death in Indiana, beyond that, I won't add information without a legitimate source. You may respond by sending thru an "other" suggestion from her page:

Hi Ed,
I just want to say thank you for checking Gray Cemetery for Jesse Whitehead, Sr. I was hoping that maybe his marker was over looked but notice you posted the Cemetery photo as well as created his Bio.

RE: Thanks
You are welcome. I try to get whole families together. Let me know if there is anything else you would like to have added to their memorials.
