Thank you for the obit. My grandmother is Fannie L Fields Bevers sister to your Ggrandmother Jennie. looking at the photo you have of Jennie in her memorial they (Fannie & Jennie) look alike almost like twins. anything I have regarding the Bevers/Fields I am willing to share.

Joshua & Mary Kavanaugh Bristow are my gg-grandparents, James Franklin is my g-grandfather, his only daughter, Bertha, is my grandmother. My cousin, Marlene Turner Stevenson and I visited the cemetery where Joshua is buried, in July 2009 and placed flowers on his grave. His wife, Mary Kavanaugh died 1895, is buried in Truby (Jones Co) Texas next to James Franklin. No headstone yet for her but we are trying to raise $$ to purchase one. William Marion Bristow is buried in a small community west of Anson Texas in the Nienda Cemetery along with a number of his family. Several sons of James Franklin are buried in Rule, Texas (Haskell Co) cemetery, plus one in Hamlin, Texas. I've visited Granby and Neosho, Missouri where the Bristows left their "Gone to Texas" sign in 1872. | | | Nona Forrest Worton
