Satathail "Late" Kirby
Satathail Frank Kirby was a minister of the Church of Christ. He had church in Tennessee, Southern Illinois, Missouri, and California. He was also a public debater of current issues of the day. He had two brothers in the Civil War who fought for the North. One brother Bob may have fought for the South.

Walter "late" Kirby
Tom, the Late Kirby who was a preacher was Salathial "Late" Kirby, not Walter. Late moved to California and died there. He was a brother to my great grandfather, Robert Kirby and Walter Kirby who is buried at Flippin in Monroe County.

Robert Neal Moody
Saw your bio and pic of this gentleman and wanted you to know that I have taken pictures of this family. If you will open up look at the Moody headstone pic I have listed those around this stone. Moody is on one side and Riggs is on the other. Thought you might want to know if connected. Have a blessed new year.

RE: Margaret Rogers Crisp
Find A Grave Memorial# 92035781

I think some of the info on this may be incorrect. Do you know who posted it?

My husband was a gggg-grandson of Mansel and Margaret Rogers Crisp through their daughter, Sarah Rogers Crisp who was married to Samuel Augustus Erwin in Lawrence Co., TN by David Crockett, then Justice of the Peace. In 1837-8, the Erwin family followed Crockett's route to NE Texas and settled in an area where Crockett had gone hunting before heading for the Alamo. The town the Erwin family founded was named Honey Grove and is in Fannin Co., TX.

We have no information about what is posted on this site about the life of Mansel Crisp. So I was wondering who did have this information and if there is anything to document it.

Thanks--
Dianne Erwin

There is a Martha N Lambert located in this cemetery. Do you know if she has a marker? Also can you get to this location by car?
Thanks.

Margaret Rogers Crisp
Wife of Mansel Crisp--was not born in Hardeman Co., TN. The Crisp family lived in Laurens Co., S.C. before moving to Lawrence Co., TN. Later, they moved to Hardeman Co.

My husband is a descendant of this line through Sally Rogers Crisp Erwin who came to Honey Grove, Fannin Co., TX when it was still a republic. She is buried there.

Lulbegrud Cemetery
Hi! A genealogist friend sent me a Primitive Baptist church history website based in Carthage, IL. It has that the Goshen church in Winchester was in Clark County, KY and the Lulbegrud Church cemetery was in Montgomery Co, KY. Elder Thomas Boone served as a minister in both.
