I have always been interested in tracing my family roots and have done a lot of research on ancestry.com. Findagrave.com has been a wonderful tool in researching my family roots. I hope that I can contribute some photos that will also help others find their ancestors.|

Jennifer: Reference Blooming Grove Baptist Cemetery Montgomery Co., TN.
The tombstone of Nathan Allen and Nathan B.
Allen are the same. The tombstone should be for
Nathan Allen, not Nathan B. Allen.

Are you related to Mary? If so, I think she might possibly be my 3rd great aunt. Last I saw of Mary was on the 1850 census, living with my 3rd great grandfather, John Burchett and his son - also John - in McNairy, TN. It seems to be a common name, but if you have any info tying her to my Burchett clan, I would be very happy to hear it. Thanks.

Just wanted to let you know that your request for the grave marker for William Yeary, in the Litton Cemetery, Big Hill, Rose Hill, Lee County VA, is not in the Rose Hill Area. The Litton Cemetery, on Big Hill, is in the Pennington Gap, Lee County, VA area. The cemetery is located on land that one belonged to his in-laws, Joseph Koger.

Hey Jennifer: I sure do thank you so very much for going out to the cemetery and making me the pic of my relative Mary Rives. Also I see you reported that her husband Thomas Rives's headstone cannot be found. It may have fallen over and buried under debris after so many years. Who knows. But at least you got me Mary's pic and for this I am really thankful. Blessings !
