Thank you for the transfer of my GG Grandfather
|Melanie Taylor||Portrait of Forrester Lore Taylor|
I am attempting to restore Forrester Lore Taylor's original portrait to his Find A Grave page, but was told I could not, because it was already replaced by another photograph last April and that only one portrait photograph is allowed. I don't know why the same criteria was not applied at that time, leaving the original in place. Would you please help me to restore his original portrait? Thanks for your understanding. Best regards, Melanie Taylor

There appears to be a duplicate listing for him at East Oak Grove Cemetery, Monongalia, WV.

Your memorial seems to be for the same person as George M. Harris (#28681970), created a day earlier. Maybe the two memorials should be merged?

|Grand Army of the Republic||MOH John Mapes Adams 6404097|
The photo that is on your MOH John Mapes Adams memorial is not him. Also the image has been reversed. Probably taken from Wikipedia.com the photo is identified on Wikipedia as "This photograph is of my Grandfather, William Seach, who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his conduct during the Boxer Rebellion. This is a later photograph taken when he was an officer in the U.S.N. At the time of the Boxer Rebellion he was an Ordinary Seaman. He was born in London, England May 23, 1880 and was 20 years old when his bravery resulted in the Medal of Honor being awarded. He is buried in Arlington Cemetery."
I have a suggestion. How about changing the spouse link to spouse, partner or companion? (We add the memorial number to the correct link) This would be a way to link life partners and companions without them being classified as a "SPOUSE." Just my 2 cents worth. Thanks!
