Bio and Links
I became interested in tracing my family roots around Thanksgiving, 2004, when I found a handwritten family history (authored by my maternal grandmother) in my parents attic. I've been hooked ever since. My wife (Heidi) has since also become an addict. We are both related to early settlers of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.

Esq Henry Bowen
Hi,
I see you are now the manager of Margaret Davis Bowen's memorial 47812048. There is a bio on it saying she is married to Esq. Henry Bowen. You wouldn't happen to know why he doesn't have a memorial? Notes in my files say he was buried on Woodstock Hill.
Thanks
Dianne

Do you want pictures of their gravestones added to the memorials? I have them on file as I have been surveying Elm Grove. Also Edith A Hewitt? I have added a Louise R Hewitt 1907 -
If you want management of Louise let me know & I will make the change.

RE: Johnson Vermont
OK Jeff, I have transferred those to your care. There are a lot more Johnsons in that cemetery if you want any or all of them transferred just let me know. I hope your new book helps to get the family straightened out.

Simeon Child
The person who added the second memorial for him is wrong, this family is NOT in Lake Nelson, Lake Nelson is a new cemetery and does NOT have a section transferred from Evergreen. However I will also tell you that nobody in their right mind would go into Evergreen anymore, rapists, thugs, vandalism, drug users and sellers.

RE: Esther (Bardwell) Child
Hi Jeff,
Esther Child's stone is badly damaged and very difficult to read. I've updated the caption for as much as we could make out. We assume the husband's name on her stone is Isaac Child, but his first name was not readable. In fact, everything under the name Child is buried, including the dates which are not visible.

Sorry we couldn't give you more information.

Karen

Welch family at West Aurora
Jeff, thanks so much for the additional info & corrections! It's very much appreciated. Do you happen to have anything more on Henry Welch, Jr.? There is another similar stone behind Ada's, but I can't read any inscription. I entered it as "Unknown Welch."
