Can you help locate the actual grave sites?
Hello, Bennie -
I would like to visit the graves of R.N. Hill, Susan F. Hill, and Charlis Hill located in Oakwood Cemetery, Lanett, AL. You posted the pics on Find A Grave. Do you keep a record of exactly where the headstones are located that you photograph?
Thank you for your help -
Jane

Resthaven

I am sharing this message that was posted on the "I Grew Up in Valley, AL" Facebook group today 6/28/14. Please share with anyone you know who has family buried there.

If anybody has family buried out at Resthaven you may want to go check on their lots! We went out today and grass is almost knee high. We cut around my parents graves but the entire place is in shambles! There are graves that still have dead flowers piled on them from the funeral, lots of graves with no grass and lots of graves that have the vases missing off them! Anywhere there is grass it's almost knee high!! It's a sad sight!!!
feeling annoyed.

Thank you for transferring my relatives. I have been searching for these people, but really didn't know where to look. So glad you found them, and thankful you were willing to transfer. Best wishes.

Grave Transfer
Thank you Benny for the transfer of Find A Grave Memorial# 56193929.It has been an honor knowing you! Now if i can find the rest of the family as it seems death records are non existent??

My very own mother was born in Langdale,Chambers County, Alabama in 1920 and i never found no record of her birth either. I do know the death dates of some of the children but nothing else.

Thank You
