Linking Siblings to Memorials
Hi. You can link siblings cousins, etc., to your memorials. However, it isn't as easy as it is when linking parents. You will have to use HTML code. ((I do it all the time, so once you get use to it, you'll be able to do it with your eyes closed..lol)) Here is the instructions from Find A Grave:

HOW DO I ADD A LINK FROM ONE MEMORIAL TO ANOTHER?
In order to create a link in the biography of one memorial to someone else's memorial (such as the person's spouse or parent), you will need to use a bit of HTML code. It's hard to put into words, so here is an example (from Johnny Carson's biography which has a link to Red Skelton's memorial page): Pioneering Television Legend, Comic, Host. Carson began his entertainment career in radio but quickly moved to television. He moved to Hollywood to become a writer for "The Red Skelton Show."

In the biography, you would need to type
< a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name< /a>

where XXXXXXX is the GRid number of the memorial you want to link. The GRid is a unique id for each memorial and as such is the only thing within the entire URL that must be included. The "Name" is what will show up on the screen as a link.

You will need to remove the space between < and a at the beginning as well as the space between the < and / at the end. The spaces were added here to actually show you the code.

I hope the 2 of you can come to agreement for John, I was only a go between, personally I was just passing along what I was told. Good luck!

Since I also received a suggestion from Lady in Black shortly after yours I decided to add the marriage license on each one of their memorials; pretty strong documentation plus the letter from her telling me about their marriage. Plus, I sent an email to Find A Grave to let them know about this situation.

Elaine was married 3 times; this is from a letter she wrote to me. Her first one was to John Dermody, who she married 22 Jan 1938 in Grand Island, Nebraska; William Evans Neville, who she married in 1941. Both of these marriages ended by divorce. Then she married Paul on Jan. 15, 1949 in Kearney, NE. If you go to the link below, which is her grandmother's memorial, you will find that she is mentioned as Mrs. John Dermody.

I am sorry but we can not link siblings together on this site. We can only add parents and spouses. Contact the person that created the child's memorial and ask them to add the parent.

RE: James Robert Malowney
I wasn't offended; I usually don't add living children unless I have an obit for the individual. I believe I have her obit and will try to type it up sometime next week.
