I have enjoyed doing finding a grave.
I love going to the cemeteries and helping others find tidbits of info that might be missing from their family tree. Sometimes all the info might not be available.

|Amber Gullo||Wilbert Family Tree|
Hello, I am trying to build my family tree which lead me to this website which is where I obviously lead me to you. I dont know if I am on the right path because there are so many Wilberts but I have got to Edward and Annie Lou Burch Wilbert. Ancestry says that their parents are from Germany. Do you have ANY information about them? I appreciate your time and help. Thanks!

See if this works:
link to Austin Glover at McCormack Cemetery
If I search his name in Jefferson Cty., Alabama, search result is "Sorry, there are no records..."
If I search his name in Walker Cty., Alabama Grave Search Result is:
Glover, Austin 12312426
b. Jun. 9, 1894 d. Nov. 10, 1952
I click on the name and his memorial page displays showing

The Cemetery is listed correctly in Jefferson County, and is a search result for Jefferson County; the problem lies in how indicvidual memorials are listed.
When I search for Glover memorials from the McCormack page, some of the results list the name and McCormack Cemetery Dora, Jefferson County, Alabama, (i.e. 34787721) others are listed Dora, Walker County, Alabama, (i.e. 10129758); the same with the surname Hollis. Though all Allums show Walker County. Humm.
No wonder I am confused.
|Elizabeth Verchio||McCormack Cemetery|
is physically located on McCormack Road, Dora, Jefferson Cty., Alabama (about a mile East of the Walker/Jefferson County line off Bankhead Hwy).
McCormack Cemetery is listed on this site in Walker County which causes problems when searching for people buried here.
Please, change (or have admin.) the County to Jefferson and add the street address, McCormack Road. I know the Dora town name creates problems, as maps don't list Dora in Jefferson Cty., unfortunately, it is the Dora Post Office that serves this corner of Jefferson Cty., that creates this confusion.
The mailing address, which is the same for New Horizon Funeral Home who currently owns McCormack, 5203 Hollis Goodwin Road, Dora, Alabama, but is physically located in Jefferson County.
Let me know if there is anything I can do to assist with this matter.
Grateful for all your contributions to this wonderful website.

hi Patricia, i am hoping you still have this email address activated, and can help me. This gentleman that you took the photo of his gravestone, Memorial
# 16560156, was a cousin to my Mother, and i am wondering if his wife, Margaret Jenkins McCarthy, has since passed away since your photo in 2006. Would you be able to go back to this cemetery which is Crestview Memorial Gardens, Adamsville, Jefferson Co.???? i have tried finding this cemetery online to check their listings but am not seeing this Crestview name, maybe you would know if they changed the name?
any help would be greatly appreciated, and Happy New Year 2015, and thank you for taking the time to photograph the headstones and put them on this site, it sure helps us that are looking for relatives that moved from Canada to USA! Thanks, Marge Lalonde firstname.lastname@example.org

I believe he is my great grandfather and he is the only one in my family besides my grandparents that I can find so far. His wife I think her name is Lela or Leeler Lewis??
|Sharon Carver||RE: Kelly Easter|
Oh ok. I didn't realize you had already spoken to him. Are you our neighbor? If you find out anything, please let me know. Thanks!
|Sharon Carver||Kelly Easter|
My family and I just moved to a new house 7 months ago and have 8 1/2 acres of land in Dora, AL. There's an old grave marker on our land up by an old shop that has the name Kelley Easter on it. The DOB is Oct. 21, 1888 and DOD is Feb. 16, 1948. I was researching and found this post. It has to be the same person. I see that you posted a picture of a grave in a cemetery close by. I was wondering if you could give me some information about this person and if you know if she is in fact buried here or at the cemetery. Just curious...thank you!
|Maggie Holley||Great Grandparents Holley|
I see you have posted grave markings for a J H Holley and M E Holley. I am wondering if they are my great grandparents. I had the years that they were born and died. They are the same as your info but I'm not sure about the name on the head stones. My great grand parents names were Richard John Pickney Holley and Elvira Rice Lowery Holley. My grandfather had another name but I don't know it. I was told by another family member but she refuses to help me with my family tree. My grandparents were John Luther Holley and Niece Beatrice Hagood. My father was Thomas Carvin Holley. Thank you for your time.
