I have worked my family genealogy for over 20 years. I have been a volunteer on USGenWeb since 1998. |
Many of the photos may not be of my family line but just requests I have fullfilled for others. If you have corrections or additions to any of the memorials I have added, send them to me by using the Send A Correction form. If you want links added please make sure you have included the correct memorial numbers. Due to the large number of transfer requests, I will only transfer memorials within the guidelines established by Find A Grave. Please consider setting up a virtual cemetery for your family members. Any memorial can be entered into this virtual cemetery so you can have all your family together. I will not respond to any requests for a large number of the same surname, nor any requests outside of the Find A Grave guidelines.
Since my Stokes, Tollett & Potter families when coming to OK settled in the Konawa, Seminole, OK area, I posted the Konawa cemetery. The images were taken 10/4-5-12/2008. I wish to thank my cousin & grandchildren for helping. I did note that they not being genealogist, I need to retake some images on my next trip. Whether it be reflections in the stone or a better image I will get it done as soon as possible. The only images I did not upload were the ones with only one date and since I do not know if the person was actually buried there or not I did not post it.

Thank you for accepting the edits and adding links for members of the Hyde family at Konowa.

Wondering if you might be able to help me out. My grandmother, a native of Konawa, recently passed away in Texas. We'd like to have her ashes interred at Konawa Memorial Cemetery, where her parents (Zack and Gertie Bacon) are buried. I can't find any information online, so I'm unsure if this is still an "active" cemetery.
Thanks so much!

Kathy, we've communicated some in the past. I got to the point where I would like to add some family of Sylva and I hate to ask you to always do the adding. Sylva is my aunt. I am the son of Clarence C. Aaron and was wondering if you could transfer the memorial to me. #47045519. Thanks
|Linda Berry ||Martha C Berry|
Do you have any other information on Martha C Berry 1853-1957. I think this is my great grandmother but I was told her name was Condecia Clair "Mattie" (by her daughter) Hunter Berry but same Ancestry pages have given her name as Martha C. If this is the right person her husband was Andrew J Berry and he died in 1907 and is buried in Violet Springs Cem.OK

Thank you for adding the marker photo

My brother died in Ada, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma.

Just realized I put the wrong name & number for the picture you had shared. It was the Grave Marker for Julius Fields (#30970111) & Clarice Nanny Downing Garner (30970235).
Thank you again

Thank you for posting pictures that you have taken here on Find A Grave. I have started using these pictures in my personal family tree file as additional source documents. May I use the picture you have shared of James Gault (#61905921) in my files, as well as any others of family members that you may have shared? I will so note that the picture is from: Find A Grave Contributor: Kathy Stokes Hudson #47052010.
Thank you again for your efforts, I do appreciate it very much.
|Dianna Taylor||Transfer Please|
could you please transfer my great grandmother
Patsy Elizabeth Harris-Jackson
my grandfather is Bailey A Jackson, Patsy's son
my member # is 47310976
this would be most appreciated as we (family) are continuously finding information to be added.
|David Shapiro||George Walter Jackson & Maggie|
I just noticed you created memorials for relatives of mine. Uncle Walt was the brother of my maternal great-grandmother, Susie Jackson Post. Additionally, he married Maggie Johnston, who was the sister of my maternal grandfather, Daniel D. Johnston(Dan married my grandmonther, Monta O. Post, the only daughter of Susie Jackson Post and James J. Post). So, a double family connection. Are you and I related or are you a genealogy researcher who was kind enough to create these memorials? Either way, thank you very much. You are obviously quite skilled. My level of "expertise" is as close to zero as imaginable. I don't even know what USGenWeb is. Would they, or you, be able to build my tree? My name is David J. Shapiro. I may be contacted at email@example.com. I look forward to your response. Thanks again. David
