|C Branscome||Re - Charlotte Chapin at Mt. Auburn|
Margo - Thanks for the photo. I got the response from the Mt. Auburn research department and they confirmed it is the same Charlotte so I have changed the memorial to match the gravestone. Below is their response since it also applies to the two Henry Cabot Blakes that you maintain. Thanks again.
From Mt. Auburn - Cemetery records confirm that Charlotte S. Chapin’s remains were moved to lot #1154 on Elder Path on 18 May 1891, along with two other members of the Blake family, who had originally been buried in another Blake family lot (#408) on Ivy Path.
Charlotte’s original interment date was 18 March 1839. Her age at death was recorded as 40 years. The other two whose remains were moved the same day were both named Henry C Blake: one died 6 October 1834, age unknown, and the other 27 December 1834, age 2 months.

Margo - Thanks for the photo. I have sent off a request to Mt. Auburn to try and determine if the photo goes with that memorial and if the 1891 date is an interment date and the death date is 1839. Will let you know. Thanks. Carol
|Jerry Fair||Wayne Fair|
I use the short version of Sly's name. Thanks for being so kind. I finally got around to adding links to Sly's parents. I did add a photo of Jeremiah Fehr aka Jeremiah Fair, the father of Sly Fair, to his memorial. Click on the parental link to view the photo.
Ms. Margo, you are one super lady!
|Jerry Fair||Sylvanus Fair|
Ms. Margo, I forgot to change the spelling of the first name. Sylvanus is my cousin who was also known by Wayne as well. Yes, one line of my Fairs used the variation, Fehr. The Fehr name was used by descendants of my 1st cousin, Marks Fair aka Marcus Fehr aka Mark Phare. The surname Fehr was not the original spelling. My ancestor, Johannes Fahr aka John Fair came from Germany 5 Sept 1751.
Sorry about the confusion.

Margo, Thanks for beautiful photos on four of my Glover sites in Mt Auburn. I hope I have the right dates for Stephen Glover from the stone. I trust dates on stones most of the time over public death records. Richard
