I've been doing genealogy about 30 years. I've found that cemetery information, although not always right it sure can lead to some great leads.|
Family names I am working on
Shaw, Waldren, Moore, Henderson & Knox from Vinton County, Ohio;
Haynam from Stark, Carroll & Columbiana Counties, Ohio;
Reid & Banta from Preble County, OH.
Indiana - Mason, Reid, Sturgeon, & Headington from Jay County, Indiana
Massachusetts - Kenney, Redden, Gibson,
New Hampshire - Boynton, Hopkins
Nova Scotia - Kinney, Letteney, Sabean, Warne, Doty & Prime from Digby County;
Redden & Trenholm from Kings County, N.S.
Vermont - Perry, Hopkins & Gibson from Windsor County, VT.
Also working on Cox, Carter, Price, Mourn, Hartman & Foughty in Athens County, Ohio.
I live in south western Ohio and can get over to parts of Indiana also. I'm glad to help when I can, in the mean time I am trying to input information from the cemeteries in my area.
Please contact me for corrections or doubles. I will gladly transfer memorials.
The chair in the photo is located in the Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, Ohio. It is under the name of Margaret Duncan look at the other stones she and her husband James Duncan have - no I don't know them but I love the chair!! I like the thought of being comfortable at the cemetery.
Please visit my sister's memorial. She lost her battle with pancreatic cancer Feb 16, 2016. 158257318

|Bobby Stapleton||Laura Beverly Gardner|
Memorial Number 114915190 Laura is my wife's Grandmother and we always believed by research and family records that as you stated on this site that her Father was George Beverly and Mother was Rachel Henry. The question I have is: below this statement is also her Parents and her Mother is shown as Rachel Francis Newland Beverly. Is there something I'm missing. I'm doing research for my wife's family booklet and am stuck with this one.
Thanks Bob Stapleton
Would you transfer this record to me, she is my gg grandmother. I have added her husbands information on this site and have linked the numbers.
Thanks for your continued support to Find A Grave.

Hello Miss Lulabell,
Thank you for all your work, and great efforts in connecting families/friends/loved ones.
I was hoping you could transfer Tammy's page to mine.
She was my best-friend for 13 years, before she lost her life in a tragic motorcycle accident when she was just 16, on June 7th, 1980.
I'd like to connect her to family and friends.
Thank you very much for the information you provided for her memorial, I really appreciate it.

Hi Lulabell, Would it be possible for you to transfer this memorial ? I totally would understand if you don't as I am not a relative. John's wife Mary is a very dear neighbor and friend of mine. I am also know other members of his family.
THank you for your consideration.
|Polar Bear Mom||Grove hill/Mt Feake|
Hi Lu, Yea, that was weird having the online location as Grove Hill. I was only at Mount Feake yesterday. I also haven't a clue about "Lizzie L. Lewis" who is listed on the stone as 1867-1891 but isn't listed in the plot info. There's an Erdine listed in the plot, but her date doesn't match Lizzie's. Oh well, perhaps a family member will clarify some day. Thanks for your edits!
Thank you so much for photo of M. Vosburgh's headstone. Much appreciated. Mary
|Robert Steen||Edits to Alwilda and Minerva|
I just put in a couple of edits for Alwilda and Minerva Plessinger. I believe there is a duplicate memorial for their father Solomon. There is the one you created in Greenville Union and another created in the Harte-Miller cemetery (#5753817). The Harte-Miller cemetery was abandoned but I believe this to be the final resting place for Solomon and three of Rebecca and Solomon's children who died in infancy. Rebecca died many years after Solomon and I'm thinking that she was buried in Greenville Union and that the monument in for Solomon was created at that time but that he is in fact buried in Harte-Miller. Find A Grave only caters for a single memorial for a father and mother so I asked that Minerva and Alwilda be linked to what I think is the actual resting place for their father. This will also link them to all of their siblings. Perhaps you can put a note in the Greenville Union memorial for Solomon that points to his grave at Harte-Miller.
