I am from Perth, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada, and I've been an amateur genealogist since 1991. I think this site is an excellent idea and plan to contribute what I can to it. If you notice any errors in the memorials I have submitted, or if you would like to add a bio to a memorial, please contact me.|

FYI the headstones in France for Gordan and Carmen Molyneaux are now on their memorial pages in case you are interested. You had helped me find obits for that family, so thought that you might be interested. Thanks!

I just realized I need to ask you for permission to use your photo for my on-line and personal family tree. Could you email me if it is all right to do so. I have been taking some grave memorial pictures also as a volunteer and I finally added a blanket permission on my bio page - made life easier.
I would love to visit Lanark, Ontario, but I live in Southern California so it's not just a hop, skip and a jump away. If I do maybe we can meet - you probably are a great source of genealogical information on the area. I am a McLean by birth and I have tracked my 2nd Great-grandfather James McLean to have been born in Dalhousie in 1830 and living in Lanark in 1850.
Hope to hear back from you. My regular email is LMCGUE@YAHOO.COM.

Gary...I'm also wondering if you would be willing to transfer Patrick McDonnell's memorial to me. He is the brother of Catherine McDonnell Kane and my great grandfather, John McDonnell. Thanks!

I am wondering if you would be willing to transfer Catherine McDonnell Kane's memorial to me? She is the sister of my great grandfather and I would love to connect her to her family. Or if you'd rather keep it, could I please send you the information and have you add it for me?
I sent you a long email regarding my Grandmother's history. Thank You. Laureen

Hi Gary, I much prefer to transfer memorials to family rather than making links. I am not related to the vast majority of the people whose names I have entered so reuniting families just makes sense to me.
Thank you for reading my bio and spotting the bit about Lyme. I brought the disease home as a souvenier of a trip to East Germany in 07! Alberta has finaly admitted that the disease has been found in ticks here, but it is still hard to find a knowlegeable Dr. I go to a Dr in Seattle WA. Please let your brother in law know my thoughts are with him.

Thanks for the link to Eliza's parents.
Memorial# 49054263 for Hanna Cherrie. I believe this person to be a sister of John, d/o of George Cherrie and Mary Budd. The year of birth fits. Based on census records, and the death record of John Cherrie, he was single at the time of death.

Would it be permissible to add your grave photo for Robert Clark and Elizabeth Houze to our Ancestry tree, with a credit line?
Thank you for the thousands of memorials you have created - I was so surprised to be able to locate so many of my relatives through Find A Grave.

Thank you for the corrections. I had no idea about this. My ancestors were pioneering Irish who settled this area and I did not grow up in Canada. I've been looking through records for my ancestors and thought to occasionally add some other burial records for other people so that maybe they could find a a lost ancestor.
I will delete the ones I added and re-add them to the pioneering cemetery link you sent me and thanks for the link.
Would you be able to check something for me? My G/G/G/G Grandparents were John Smyth (Smith) and Matilda (sometimes know as Martha) McCabe. and another set of grandparents were Richard Doyle (Catherine Griffin-I believe she is buried in Ireland). Would these people be buried there? They were all R.C. Thank you again for the link to the cemetery and letting me know!! Maureen in PA
