Bio and Links
Bio Photo Live here in Wabash Indiana.
I started out just looking for my ancestors, and in not being able to find them all, decided I could at least help others to find theirs here in Wabash County, Indiana.

There are now several of us in Wabash County on Find A Grave working together. Our goal is to put bios on all of our pioneer families, to honor all of our service men and women, and to get families linked together.
If any of us has put on your loved one, please know it is out of respect. These are our family, friends, and neighbors.

PLEASE feel free to use my photos or info in your family tree. It was put on for you.

Please read Find A Grave FAQs
This is a GRAVE registry site. To make your family tree I highly recommend joining
I will not do any links to unknown burials nor will I transfer (out of family guidelines) to a member that has created too many unknown burials.

New Smyrna Beach, FL
I live in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. I'm hoping you might be able to help me with a personal research project, possibly concerning William Joseph Cox and family, who once lived at 915 Palmetto St, New Smyrna Beach.

Briefly, here's how my project got started: I work at the local hospital. I participate in a hospital wide health program that's called "Fit For Life," and we walk for exercise as part of the program.

On one of my walks I noticed an imprint of toddler shoes in the cement of a residence near the hospital. The year 1950 was also inscribed by those prints. That residence was 915 Palmetto St. Naturally, I had some curiosity about the story behind those prints.

I did some warranty deed research at the DeLand County courthouse to see who might have lived in that house in 1950. Ownership had changed a few times, but records indicate that a Helen & Joseph Cox were the possible owners at that time. Helen (eventually widowed) then deeded the house to her children in 1967.

Her children's names were William and Cathleen (spouse James Norris). Other relatives may include Alyce Thurwachter (sister, Chicago Heights IL) Karen Omodt (niece, FL), Rick Kessler, Jim Craft, Rick & Jeff Thurwacther.

Do you think you could help me discover the story behind the toddler shoe prints in the cement??

Vivian Bodkin Carter.
Hi, I have been trying to find a obit for this lady and just discovered that she did not die on 20 April 1976 but on the 30th. of April. Her tombstone is very clear about the day. I think this should be changed.

Thank you for transfer
Thank you for the transfers for both the Russell's and the Paxton's. Also a big thank you for your time creating their memorials. It's greatly appreciated.

The Russell's
Hello, I was wondering if you are related to Robert (31827668) and Mary (31827652) Russell? They are my great grandparents. My grandmother Helen Gallagher was the person that submitted much of what was added in the memorial from the book "The Russell Roots and Branches". Are you willing to transfer? My grandmother also had a baby sister Delcie Russell (31827532). I'm a fairly new member and was afraid to request a transfer. I mostly focus on volunteer photographing but working on how to create memorials. Thank You, RAP 48159663

Matthew & Chrissy
Thanks for bringing the duplicate of Vito Berardi to my attention. I took it down. Not sure how I did not see that there was a page already up when I did mine.

Your Edwin Stevens photo
Hi v f,

I have a much nicer, almost identical version of the photo that you posted on a Find A Grave memorial for Edwin Stevens. The memorial is here:

I am asking if you will delete your version and add this version:

Lusetta Doerner Lawer Leverich
Hi, Is it possible to tell me where her DOD/place information came from? I have always known of Lusetta Leverich but never been able to place her until I saw your post of her. I haven't been able to locate obits for her or Stephen C. Leverich (though I know his exists). Her memorial # is 36806187.

Thanks very much! :)

Margaret Quillen Duplicate
Actually, I created the cemetery listing in which Margaret is buried. Whoever owns her other profile move it there after the fact. But no problem; she is not within my family, so I don't mind deleting mine.
