To request a memorial to be transferred to you, the only way is to go to the "Edit" tab in the upper right of the memorial, go to "Suggest Any Other Correction or Addition" - put in your relationship to the memorial, and your memorial #. It must be done through the "edit" tab only, to insure that the correct memorial is transferred to the correct contributor. I will most likely transfer if a close relative - which must be given in the "edit" tab.
PLEASE to not post birth or marriage certificates or obituaries NOR put in the flower tab any information about the deceased. Send me in the "edit" tab to put this in the "Bio" section. I do not link to parents who are in a burial that are not known.
Thank you for all that have contributed to the memorials which are in my charge. And thanks to the ones that take pictures for me.
I will not transfer if they are apart of my own family or friends. Some of the lines I am researching are Masters, Chamblee, Keith, Kay, Hoffman, Veitch, Harding, Randolph, Isham, Totherow, Whitworth, Cartright, Murray, Magnusson, Bird, Stapley, Bliss, Pomeroy, Cunningham, Roth, Harding, Quinlan, Barrows, Norris, Totten, Jordan, Stumpf and Hannum.
Because of the passing of contributor's Kathy McConnell and ancestorsatrest, I have been given a good portion of their memorials to take care of.
Elaine Berger has transferred the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery memorials for me to take care of.
RE: San Cristobal Cemetery Thank you SO much! I use FindAGrave.com as a citation/source for my genealogy and link information to the entry on wikitree.com so that others in the family can follow my family tree trail. When I come across a small, relatively unvisited cemetery, I try and list all the entries on wikitree.com so that other family members might find links in the same area of the world.
RE: Marjorie Jane Nelson Kirkwood Thanks for your help -- I tried the putting both last names in the last name box; however, then it doesnt sort right when pulling up the names. I think Ill just leave it as such and put the explanation in the bio box. I requested the change of spouses with Connor so hopefully we will get this all straightened out soon. Thanks so much for your information.

RE: Marjorie Jane Nelson Kirkwood Ok -- now I am stumped -- possibly you can help me understand my question -- according to FindAGrave FAQ "How do I enter all married names for a woman's memorial when she was married more than once? The 'last name' is the name that is on the headstone. Include other married names as part of the biography section. The 'maiden name' is only for her maiden name."
Ok -- now I listed her as Petersen (memorial no. 160382540) but both names are listed on her headstone as well as she is buried next to Kirkwood. So should she stay PETERSEN or should I change it to KIRKWOOD? Also, I noticed she was Kirkwood 12 years and Petersen 31 years.
RE: Marjorie Jane Nelson Kirkwood sorry to make it so difficult in correcting my error -- I went in and made the editing change of her name so it might be less confusing. So Mem. no. 91910253 is Marjorie E. Kirkwood, married A. L. Kirkwood (91910239). You will have to remove Earl #85242387 because I attached him to the wrong Marjorie.
I will do another email regarding the other Marjorie - who is buried using her 2nd husband's name - Petersen.
Are you aware that there are duplicate records for George Eugene Despain(Memorial#89376330 ) and his wife, Delphia Rees Despain(89376320)? Sue Heath has memorial #90890603 for George and memorial #90890417 for Delphia. As your memorials have photos of the headstone, I have suggested to her in a separate message that it might be a good thing for the two of you to merge your memorials and decide betwixt the two of you who should manage them.
