I currently live in Birmingham, but I grew up in Bay Minette, AL.

I just recently picked up geneology as a hobby. My mother had done a lot of work on our family tree about 15 - 20 years ago. I am just trying to fill in the holes.

RE: Sgt Seaborn Baggett
I see. Well good luck. My husband works with his great-grandson. I think I told you it was his grandson. Great-grandson sounds more likely. I don't think that he knows much about Seaborn but I'll see if my husband will ask him if he knows about the relationship between his family and the Campbells.

RE: Sgt Seaborn Baggett
Do you research soldiers that fought in the Civil War? Is that your focus or are you researching your own family? I think that this work is unwelcome to those families that had members that fought of both sides but I don't suppose that matters to some researchers.

His grandson, who works with my husband, will be mighty surprised by this.

High Pine Cemetery
There is a picture posted for this cemetery in Baldwin Cty, AL, that is credited to you. I'm just wondering if you know how long ago the picture was taken and just how far east of the big power lines it is. Several of us have been back in there trying to find the cemetery, but can't.

Joseph Davis and Jack Springs Cemetery
Part II - You may be interested to know that the Jack Springs Cemetery is also known as McCullough Community Cemetery. I have just noticed that both Marende and Joseph are also listed in the McCullough Community Cemetery. We took the photos of Joseph and Marende there, last August. The lady that requested the photos in August currently maintains the pages there, and might be doing the same research as you are doing.

Joseph Davis and Jack Springs Cemetery
We drove down to Jack Springs Cemetery today and fulfilled your photo request for Joseph D Davis. While there we also took a photo of his wife, Merende Davis. We started a page for her and uploaded her photo. If you would like ownership of Merende's page so you will be able to make corrections and add any information you might have, please let us know and we will transfer it to you.
