I’m the oldest daughter of Donald and Mary Bickel, but didn’t live with them growing up. I grew up with my father’s mother and stepfather.|
I've been doing genealogical research since 1999 and I'm always adding and updating my records. I look forward to connecting with relatives that I haven't even heard of yet! I have family trees on two websites.
I live near Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. and I will take pictures for you. Weather permitted. You have my permission to use my photos of Headstones in your own family tree.
Feel free to contact me with corrections, additional information, I'll be happy to help if I can.
If you are a direct relative of any of the persons I have posted contact me and I will gladly transfer the posting to you (if I am not more closely related to them).

Fine. Thanks for the response.
|Paul Rolfe||Sarah Morse|
I am not related and do not know the family. Would you like to manage her memorial? I have Smith ancestors but this line does not appear to be related to mine.
Hi! I didn't get an email, just a message from find a grave.

|Georgia Shirley||RE: Thurman's|
Do you want me to close out the Thurman request as unable to locate ?? You might want to double check with the cemetery office (they are extremely nice) and they can tell you if there is a headstone. Vera's is barely readable, she has been resting there for many many years...
Hi Laurie - I walked all of Section 2G and John and Anna do not have grave markers or a headstone. The only Thurman I found was a headstone for Vera, it looks like there are a few unmarked graves around her, but no markers. I did take a picture of Vera's headstone...

You are very welcome.
|Jim Sissel||RE: McCardle Family Lee County|
Hi Laurie. My wife's family is the Cashion/McCardle line. She asked me to search out her family tree some time ago. She does not use computers and such. If you would like to send me a phone number she could talk with you on the phone.
Which Joseph are you referring to?
Joseph Bellamy MACHEN was born 17 May 1881 in Sandy City, Salt Lake, Utah, USA
Death 28 Apr 1919 in Burton, Madison, Idaho, USA.
His father Joseph was born 24 Jun 1839 in Whiston, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England
Death 8 Oct 1909 in Rexburg, Madison, Idaho, USA
You can find his records on the Parish records along with his siblings.
Thomas Machen (Sr Joseph's sibling) is listed as being born 1829 in Whiston, Yorkshire, England. This is the year that the LDS church records also list his year of birth, not just the Parrish records.
The findagrave listing is wrong in the town he was born in. It claims Sheffield, South Yorkshire but Parrish records of the ENTIRE family can be traced in Whiston for generations. Whiston, Yorkshire, England would be more accurate.
Well look forward to talking to you further regarding our Machen lines
