Ronald D. Pendley
Never mind!!
I did some digging and located the older brother of Ronald who is still living.
He said that his parents, a long time ago, put up another stone (the one you have); but he didn't know what had happened to the first one (the one I had). He didn't think it had been stolen; but had no idea how it ended up down around Rocky Point, Perry Co, Indiana. However, he described the older one and it is identical. I think I'll leave it on your site; but I will add a note to the stone. You might want to copy what I have and put it in the main body of the memorial page. It's definitely odd!

This is located in the Anderson Cemetery in Martin Co, Indiana.
Do you have any idea why there would be another stone (I've just added it to the site) located here in Perry Co, Indiana beside the road??
If you know who these people are, get back with me, as my cousin and I have been trying for years to figure out why it's where it is. Until Indiana came out with the Death indices this year, we had no idea where he was buried. We are no relation; but it's just been one of those little mysteries you come onto now and then.

You uploaded a great photo on the above but it appears to be for the wrong person...someone has uploaded a new photo and they have asked me to remove yours, which of course I can't do...

Rachel McKnight Vest
Hello, I am trying to locate a gravestone for this lady who was my 4th great grandmother. She was married to Obediah Vest and he out lived her several years and he is buried in Missouri according to

Rachels birthdate was June 27, 1792 and died 1837 in Lawrenceport, Indiana.

I do not have a clue just which cemetery she is buried in. If you can locate her, please make a
memorial for her on this website, so I can link her to other relatives.

Thanks so much

Are you related to Mrs. Farrar? If so, I would like to transfer the memorial I created for her to you, so you can combine it with the one you created almost a year later...They certainly need to be combined! Just let me know.

Ollie B in Indiana
Thanks so much for this picture. Ollie B and Annie Etta have been talked about for generations. They were my granddad's aunts, and his mother, who was a doctor's daughter, always felt awful that she could not save her babies from the whooping cough. I went to try and find the graves about 20 years ago, and got lost in the weeds! It looks like this headstone is leaning on a tree and I assume Annie's may be gone? I intend to make another trip down there sometime and I will look for them. take care.
