Rose - Ft. Lincoln
In order to have your request fulfilled, please call Lincoln Cemetery and ask for the exact location of the grave. They can be a little difficult about giving out this information and it may take several calls. Just keep bugging them. 301-864-5090. Post the location in the memorial page in order to have your request fulfilled. It is impossible for requests to be fulfill the request without this info because they will not give it to us. The cemetery is huge and can not be walked. Thanks

RE: Littletons at Mt Carmel
Area N isn't really dangerous, it's more just overgrowth in that specfic area, and it's hard to get to every stone. Winter helps! I also have the Mt Carmel books that list details about all the burials, if that is what you are looking for.

Littletons at Mt Carmel
Unfortunately, Mary's stone is overturned. It may be too heavy to lift but I could try if it's important to you.

The other Littletons in area N will be harder to get to due to overgrowth. One day.

RE: Harris
Fortunately, the Union City Library (ucpl.org) has listings for many local cemeteries, and ID's the section/lot for Evergreen. That saves a lot of walking. I did find another Harris in another location and photographed that headstone as well. It may, however, not be a close relative to your requests.

RE: Nimmo, Bowen
I think I uploaded all of the photos that I have. I will get photos for John McDonald next week.

I think you created two memorials for Fletcher Long; I only uploaded photos to one of them.

The correct plot number is AA-27. If you ever get a chance to visit the plot yourself, make sure to stop by the plot where Mary Pickersgill (maker of the "Star Spangled Banner" that flew over Fort McHenry), is buried, which is just a few hundred feet away, also in Section AA.

RE: Nimmo, bowen
You're quite welcome; it's a pleasure to serve.

Also buried at AA-37 are the following:
Fletcher Long (10/18/1852-4/19/1926)
Margaret Horner Long (6/20/1861-3/15/1923)
John L. Mills (9/8/1832-9/12/1897)
Annie M. Mills (4/11/1840-2/27/1914)
Mary A. Mills (1/5/1880-10/28/1951)
Ross Bowers Mills (2/26/1880-4/3/1904)
Belle Mills (3/2/1873-11/8/1898)
John L. Mills (7/11/1875-9/9/1937)
Carrie H. Long (9/6/1897-3/21/1985)

Some of these already have memorials with photos, but it you are interested in creating memorials for the others, I will be happy to upload photos for them.

I noticed that Clara Bowen's father, John McDonald, is also buried in the same plot (see lower right in the photo). At the time, I didn't realize he was related and assumed he was in the next plot over. If you want to create a memorial for him, I can get a better photo next time and upload it.

Regards,
Joe Canner

RE: Grace cemetery at Fool's Paradise
You are very welcome for the photos. I need to go back to the cemetery when the leaves have fallen to see if I can get some better pictures with more sunlight. The cemetery is in dire need of upkeep, unfortunately.

With regard to the Ottos, I don't know much about them. I believe their daughter Sara is still alive, so I intend to remove that memorial as I posted it prematurely.

RE: Jack Howard Williams
What I wrote was straight from my heart. I could share many yarns about Jack Williams, but perhaps my favorite was when I transferred from McDonogh School. Our family had chosen not to pay for tuition insurance. McDonogh was unwilling to remit any of the tuition, and my frugal parents were unwilling to pay two private school tuitions. Transferring six weeks in to the school year Jack Williams permitted me to attend Boys' Latin my sophomore year FREE OF CHARGE! That forever cemented my relationship with both Boys' Latin School and Jack Williams. Jack was my friend and mentor. I dearly miss him, as do Lakers everywhere.

RE: Pruchniewski
As far as I can tell, Frank is buried with his brother Andrew, Andrew's wife and what appears to be her family. Andrew and Mary are in a different section but not far away.
