Born & raised in Indianapolis. Genealogy addict!|
My paternal grandparents were both from the Warren/Butler County, KY area.
Maternal ancestors were from Hardin & Breckinridge Cos, KY before crossing the river into southern Indiana. I search for Wand, Sublett, Ellis, Ferguson, Cohron, Causey, Williamson, Barmore, McDonald, Ross and many others. I have had this addiction for about 30 yrs! Since there is no cure for it, I just try to make the best of it. Of course, my children think I am crazy & they may be right.
I am married with 3 grown children & one granddaughter (my joy!)
Due to ongoing health problems, I haven't been able to spend much time on the computer for several months.

Madeline, I got my DNA results back the other day and it shows a direct relationship back to the Cohrons. So that is good. The other individual and I both go back to the common ancestor James Cohron, 1763-1819. John H Cohron > James Cohron (Mary Hopkins)> Betsey Cohron (Henry Fluallen) > Levina Fluallen (Jarret Hood) > Eliza Jane Tabitha Hood (Mathew Walker Andrews) > Elva Mae Andrews (Emerson J Smith) . Edward Smith > Myself. I hope that you are doing well.

Thank you, again for all of the work which you have done. I was just sitting here spending a few moments while waiting for my wife and looking at family memorials. I noticed that V.G. and Amanda are buried under PEAY. I don't think that I had ever realized that...and I have been there to the cemetery. My, what we miss sometimes. An interesting note for other researchers would be the relationships. V.G. was the brother of Matthew Walker Andrews, who married Eliza Jane "Tabitha" Hood Peay, after her husband, Joseph Henderson Peay died. Joseph Henderson was the brother to Amanda, V.G.'s wife. Have a good day, Madeline.
|Diane Addington||Eudora Frances James, (1847-1932)|
I have a question for you concerning this mem I have posted below. I have a Eudora Frances James, (1851-1876) as daughter of Mosby (Mode) (1812-1873) and Elizabeth Coffee Hobdy James, (1815-1879) and marrying William Mosby James, (1849-1911). These names and birthdates seem kind of close. Any ideas?

Thank you, thank you for transferring this memorial to me.
|Mrs Donna Schauss||RE: Infant Twins Glenn|
Nope, I don't either. I had sent a req. to findagrave to see if they know how. I created a mem pg for the dgtr but then deleted. After posting a pic of the stone, it didn't seem as "important" anymore. Will just let it go as is and see if findagrave unmerges it. Thanks.

Thank you so much for transferring this memorial. It means a lot to me and the McMillin family in Louisiana

No problem. I can't remember which one wasn't in the registry, but thankfully they were next to each other. Take care, and thanks for the thanks!
