Bio and Links
Bio Photo A little ring encompasses our lives and many generations link the rings of theirs, thus forming a chain that is without end. -Goeth

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've worked on Mound Cemetery in Pike Co. for many years. I've taken the time to walk this cemetery, documenting each grave with pictures. Some I've yet to get in pictures but it's my wish to see it all documented in pictures. Right now I'm working on biographies for my Mound Cemetery memorials. I'm going by the alphabet, A-Z until I have them completed. My hopes are that Mound Cemetery will someday open like a book, as suggested by Find A Grave for each cemetery. I hope after I'm gone, someone else will take the time to do as I've done with this cemetery. It holds special ties with me in that this is where my loved ones are at rest.
Feel free to use my gravestone pictures.
I love the new edit system! I think it's great! I want to thank everyone who are so speedy with my edit requests & welcome all your edits. I try to get to them immediately.
I'll gladly transfer & if I've made a duplicate, it wasn't intentional & I will gladly remove.
Please don't post obituaries/bio's to flower/note section or correct me there. Send an Edit & I will make the changes. Find A Grave specifically states: "Quote" "We want Find A Grave to remain a place of respect and remembrance, just like a real cemetery.
Do not leave derogatory or politically charged notes. Inappropriate notes will be removed, and individuals who continue to leave derogatory or politically charged notes will have their account closed. **Additionally, biographical information and obituaries are not to be included in a virtual flower. Limit flowers to no more than one flower per memorial per day." "Unquote"
Prayer for Genealogists
"Lord, help me dig into the past
And sift the sands of time
That I might find the roots that made
This family tree of mine.
Lord, help me trace the ancient road
On which my fathers trod
And led them through so many lands
To find our present sod.
Lord, help me find an ancient book
Or dusty manuscript
That's safely hidden now away
In some forgotten crypt.
Lord, let it bridge the gap that haunts
My soul when I can't find
The missing link between some name
That ends the same as mine."
Doyle B. Harsh
I incorrectly sent you an edit listing Homer Klinker as the father of Doyle B. Harsh. Please excuse my mistake. Homer Klinker is actually the father of Ralph H. Klinker, a half brother to Doyle B. Harsh.
