One day we will all be,|
"just a name" etched in stone.
I hope I'm helping one generation find and discover another generation.

Elizabeth Shirley was my 4th great grandmother.

The info you have on Elizabeth Ann "Bethany" O'Brien Ambrose-Shirley's memorial is incorrect. Her headstone says she died in 1868, then the narrative says she married Peter Shirley in 1869. My family history report shows Elizabeth Seilor/Siler marrying Peter Shirley 21 Apr 1823.

The marker was rather dark when I photographed it so I tried to lighten it up before I posted it. If you click on the picture on his memorial page, a larger and clearer picture will come up. The incription on the marker reads:
JOHN F. TYLER
1853 - 1941
Hope this helps...
|Bob Ess||Thank you!|
